Enjoying the conversation around concerts. From reading the various posts, I think we can all agree that there are a myriad reasons that concert tickets are down, including Covid.
It isn't always as easy peasy as just buying a ticket and you're ready to go.
ETA: Meant to say earlier, it would be interesting to get Adam's take on this subject...since he has an entire team that works for him.

I have been to 2 QAL concerts and they were so good. I have also seen Adam three times solo. And the last time was in Saint Augustine. There were some empty seats on the amphitheater but Adam have an outstanding performance and it was my very favorite so far. I think he rather likes a small intimate crowd. He is an awesome singer and performer.

He looks AMAZING in that white outfit. He definitely looks like he's lost weight too...I know that always gives me a lot more confidence. Love his comment last night about being 40 lol.

Work is insane right now but getting over a hump this week and can't wait to dive into the videos. After watching a bunch of The Voice clips on YouTube I definitely need a reminder that people can sing on tune (not off, around, under and across it).
3 QAL, 2 full Solo and a few mini-concerts. Which isn't bad given I live in Australia. This show looks like fun and love the variety of music. Seems he's doing more covers which is a nice way to add variety and spice. Not that he doesn't have loads of his own, but I love hearing his take on any music.

Over the years have repeatedly commented about how awesome Adam looks in white. White jeans 😍
LOVE WHITE‼️Awesome ‼️AWESOME‼️ He has never worn the white leather cut out shirt he wore in Mykynos….Loooove that shirt! I was really looking fwd to him wearing it for his concerts or QAL concerts. So….what does he do….he wears the identical BLACK version of the shirt in a QAL tour! Haha
I still do not get why black is so popular for him or other arttists ( obviously I do not know the code or of a code that rock stars have to be in dark clothing). 😆😆😆. It is so much harder to see the person in stage, in big venues when they wear black. At least in white you can find the person! rather like him in colour in general. Blue jeans and palm tree jacket, red leather outfits. Like the decadently crystal red jacket 3/4 jacket and silver fringed crystal vest by the famous designer who makes Rogers clothes! Etc etc.
Just my humble opinion.

didilynn , I am sorry to hear that you got Covid despite the latest booster. Thankfully, it was mild. I got my bivalent booster 10 days before a recent 2 week trip to Germany, and I kept my fingers crossed. Masks were required in the plane on the way there but not on the way back, and I was very surprised that NO ONE wore a mask in Germany except on the trains, which is a requirement. I met friends and family and I ended up mingling way more than in the past two+ years, in fact I even succumbed to peer pressure by hardly ever being masked, but I was lucky to stay healthy. In terms of Adam and his solo career/concert attendance, I appreciate you chiming in and giving an honest feedback. mszue , I am so happy for you that your concert experience in Sacramento was worth the grueling trip to get there. Awesome that you got a little help from a Glambert friend I agree, who knows when we have the opportunity to see solo Adam again, especially for fans like you who have to overcome logistical challenges to even make it to the concert. krazykay and svca , I too loved the white Witch Hunt outfit and I think less layers are more flattering in general. stampsgal , I think black is considered "cool" and I think it is appropriate for a Halloween themed show. However, I too like color.

Let me just say, nothing that follows is intended to imply that QAL has been anything but good for Adam. It has brought him a great deal, both personally and professionally. However, the non-QAL side of his career has been a bit more challenging for him. His fans know everything he's been up to, and some o If it has been quite high profile, but the high profile stuff has mostly been one-offs (the Oscars, Kennedy Center Honors, etc.). It has been a long time since he's had any kind of sustained exposure in the United States. For his fans not into QAL, his output of original music over the years has been, shall we say, less than prolific, and with the exception of "Ghost Town" and, to a lesser extent, "Superpower," the material on the last two albums has remained basically unheard beyond the core fanbase motivated to seek it out (even the "Trespassing" songs faced challenges in that regard). He doesn't have the kind of back catalog that can keep him heard and in people's minds between projects. If someone isn't into QAL, or hasn't remained a committed fan, it's been easy to forget about him. People are going to concerts, Covid and inflation be damned; I'm unconvinced those things have much to do with how Adam's concerts have been selling. These shows definitely, 100% needed more promo. I'm very happy to see the opportunities Adam has gotten in the UK, but hope Shosh and Team!Adam are able to get him more U.S. projects, too. If he's heard and seen, he's appreciated and enjoyed. The more that happens, the better for him. And for those of us who stan him. i agree 100% with lack of sustained exposure in the US. Valid points made otherwise.
