Oh no! MWP, i really have to run before store closes but, first of all, a priest can be classy and sexy (i've seen movies!!) so c'mon! And Lyle Lovett sexy, chic? Oh, honey, no. But that is so... open-minded of you... and Julia Roberts to be fair. lol p.s. I love glowing Adam elf ears too. ;D maybe my Austin is showing, but Lyle is DEF sexy for me, in a perfectly odd-ball, possibly priestlike way. And as an Adam-Stan, obvs my taste is impeccable, so don't argue . nice to hear from you, buddy. Go shop now! Me too! I was one of those who thought he was way too good for Julia. Love him!

neonlimelight.com/2012/01/18/video-adam-lambert-performs-better-than-i-know-myself-on-jay-leno/Talk about a showstopping performance. Adam Lambert appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to give the debut performance of his new single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” and there’s no other word to describe the performance other than absolute and total “slayage.”From the finely tuned band, which includes new musical director Kevin Hastings, who used to work with Rihanna, to Adam displaying every peak and valley of his stunning voice, a debut performance couldn’t get any better. If we weren’t already in love, we’d be falling head-over-heels right about now. Love, love, love it!

A permanent marker Adam frequently uses to sign autographs. Works on a variety of surfaces, including skin. cassie.. I think he sounded a bit nervous at the beginning .. "winter night... and I know that I... " and then I think he sang it too fast on "I tried to pretend" after All Along.. did I hear it right? But after that he sounded ahmazing ... always love his improvisations.. Yeah, I hear what you do. Nerves? Perhaps. I keep playing it over and over because there is something different in his voice, especially on the verses. I'm still trying to figure out what I am hearing. At the beginning there he has a rapid, narrow vibrato that sounds almost a bit quivering. And I hear a difference in the tone he is using. He seems to be focusing the resonance differently. The tone is less legitimate musical theater and more pop-y, if that makes any sense. To any vocalists reading this, it sounds like he is spreading the tone laterally a little more, and perhaps a little further back in his mouth? Do you hear that, too, or am I imagining things? Not a criticism. Adam has many different ways of singing. This one just sounds a bit different. And, yes, he also lowered the key. But he still had his signature wails on high beam and his meticulous pronunciation. In fact, on my high def TV I even saw him spitting a couple of places. That's a first for me. But, if anyone is starting a short list for Grammy winning pop vocalist, write his name with a broad tip sharpie right now. No one can touch that!

OMG Adam was wonderful! I love the new band. Kevin doing backup vocals is just such an improvement.
I was in deep despair for awhile. My DVR cut off about a minute into the performance. I'm still upset, but I've downloaded every version of the pics and 2 of the YouTubes. I can breathe again.

WOW!!!!!!! I loved everything about this performance. I especially loved the new ending and the drums. The band sounded great.
I also liked watching Adam in the mirror behind him--that's not something you see very often. LOL
Can't wait to see what he has in store for us on Ellen.
