Well, now that I've watched it over and over and over and over................................ ;D I'm good for a few minutes.
But, have a couple of questions. First..........Where the hell is Seoulmate?????????? OMG!!! I haven't seen her here all day???
And, did anyone notice Adam doesn't have ear monitors? Isn't this a first? Wonder why?
Ok, back to flailing............and listening repeatedly. Total perfection, and the pics coming in are AWESOME!!!!
Oh yeah, and I loved the look, the new dude sings great and the band all sounded great!! Was going to tell you what happened to Ashley's strap, but see that's already covered. Noticed it on the utube too.
Man, I'm worn out...lol!! This stanning is tough work!! How are we going to survive??

Cassie, he did indeed spit! Yup he did spit lol and he also spit when singing Feeling Good when he was on the steps. I replay that part over and over...just to see it happening!!! I thought his hand was expressing emotion ...not nerves...but ???who knows. edit; He does say TV makes him more nervous than a concert performance ...could be. As a DEBUT Performance the pressure was huge for him tonight!!!!!!!! Is it crazy that I want to know at what spot he spit at, so I can see if he did it too? /0\ lol.

cassie.. I think he sounded a bit nervous at the beginning .. "winter night... and I know that I... " and then I think he sang it too fast on "I tried to pretend" after All Along.. did I hear it right? But after that he sounded ahmazing ... always love his improvisations.. Yeah, I hear what you do. Nerves? Perhaps. I keep playing it over and over because there is something different in his voice, especially on the verses. I'm still trying to figure out what I am hearing. At the beginning there he has a rapid, narrow vibrato that sounds almost a bit quivering. And I hear a difference in the tone he is using. He seems to be focusing the resonance differently. The tone is less legitimate musical theater and more pop-y, if that makes any sense. To any vocalists reading this, it sounds like he is spreading the tone laterally a little more, and perhaps a little further back in his mouth? Do you hear that, too, or am I imagining things? Not a criticism. Adam has many different ways of singing. This one just sounds a bit different. And, yes, he also lowered the key. But he still had his signature wails on high beam and his meticulous pronunciation. In fact, on my high def TV I even saw him spitting a couple of places. That's a first for me. But, if anyone is starting a short list for Grammy winning pop vocalist, write his name with a broad tip sharpie right now. No one can touch that! Funny cos I didn't notice any nerves or shakiness at the beginning - will have to go and watch.... again! :D I thought he was pitch perfect and in control for most of the performance. Loved the high improv notes which is his signature! He blows me away with his power and control! Anyone else think Kevin played a wrong chord halfway through the bridge just before "cause I need you now" ??? Not a criticism - just an observation! Will compare with Ellen performance. He did what he needed to do here - a fantastic vocal.... looking divine - but not OTT which I think is the right choice for where he's at right now. Just LOVED it!!!!!! And we get to hear it again in a couple of days!!!!

You are going to need an HD version as I tried to see it on the youtube on page 60 but it is too grainy.... 1:37 and around 2:25. ...So I re checked on my tv...It is one huge spray. A better version will be out shortly if our fandom is busy!!!

;D maybe my Austin is showing, but Lyle is DEF sexy for me, in a perfectly odd-ball, possibly priestlike way. And as an Adam-Stan, obvs my taste is impeccable, so don't argue . nice to hear from you, buddy. Go shop now! Me too! I was one of those who thought he was way too good for Julia. Love him! [sneaks onto dead thread] Dear MWP and Jamie - Well then I know you too must think this guy's a hottie too! HAH! ;D Thank you for the chance to deploy Eraserhead humor #RetroRules

And, did anyone notice Adam doesn't have ear monitors? Isn't this a first? Wonder why? Oooh well spotted! Had a look and saw that he's using foldback speakers (the two speakers in front of him) that will be playing what he usually hears through his earpiece. Not sure why they used this set up tho, or if it will continue...
