] Mia and zinnia I'm so happy for you!! :D You do a TREMENDOUS amount of work, to the point that you don't have the time to squee and flail with the rest of us. Sauli's link to your posts is, to me at least, a recognition of all that. Allowing us to look into a little further to Adam's and Sauli's life. I don't want to learn EVERYTHING about their lives but little bits and pieces are SO sweet and I'm thankful for all you work. Congrats again! :D Gelly - you said this so well. I have really been enjoying the little slices of their lives that Sauli provides, and know that Mia and zinnia expend a lot of time and effort to bring these here.

I have a somewhat cynical guess on why they lead with BTIKM. Also, BTIKM is 'easier' to perform live with stunning vocals, visuals, and results. JMO.

Q3 - A truly amazing page one today! And your "Yikes - I have to get to work!" applies to me as well. But I do have a suggestion. The last couple days have shown how hard it is to figure out show times, especially for our international members. It will be the same for us here when Adam starts traveling. Could you put a link to a time clock site on page 1? This is one I saved a while back and is pretty easy to understand. www.worldtimezone.com/Thanks for all you do - I'm in awe!

I have a somewhat cynical guess on why they lead with BTIKM. From everything we know, Adam was clearly working on 3 possible singles -- Trespassing, Shady, and BTIKM. I think REC picked BTIKM because: 1. RCA decided to lead with the more Adult Pop track because people who are over 40 buy music. Dance Pop tracks get airplay and sell as tracks. 2. RCA/Adam are repositioning Adam as mainstream and this song does that. Kind of "blue-eyed" Bruno Mars. 3. They are trying to efficiently drive airplay and needed something that they could push to HAC and Mainstream Top 40 without spending a fortune. (More expense to push a dance-pop track.) Hm, yeah, I had a suspicion that expenses might factor into this. Of course this type of music sells more albums in the short run, but it seems to me that in the LONG run, if you have faith in the music, a Top 40 approach is more profitable: increased visibility of the artist, bigger tour (arenas as opposed to Kelly Clarkson sized venues), and finally more album sales if the album has 3-4 hits (see Katy Perry album). So I was hoping that RCA is wise enough and has enough faith in Trespassing that they were willing to take the somewhat riskier approach in the short run for long run larger pay-off - as opposed to playing it financially safe. But I don't know why I thought this, RCA seems to be very financially conservative. Just hoping the music will be so good that it will smash anyways and this will be a long era.

This is all very exciting! We should be getting lots of UK reviews today. Personally, it is a little nerve-racking to be getting all these reviews (including detailed track reviews) before we have even heard the music. I wonder if there was some concern that maybe BTIKM wasn't the best first single for the UK, so they are eager to share some of the possibly more UK-friendly stuff early on.
And as much as I love how they seem to be working the UK so hard this time, can't they set up some listening parties in the US, as well? I know they had a listening party for PDs done for Katy Perry before her album came out. I really hope they work US just as hard.
I am truly amazed that no music has been leaked so far. So, good job RCA on that one.
