Hello everyone! Long time lurker here... I used to be a member in Planet Fierce, but rarely posted, if at all. I've decided to de-lurk today for three reasons : 1. I totally love, love, love the album cover and I just had to say it (type it!) 2. Ladybugs' post on page 3 re: asking kindly to request Q3 to please change today's thread title from 'Trepassion' to 'Trespassing' totally made me laugh out loud. (thank you, I badly needed that after a long day) 3. To agree with everyone that Toby is indeed a tool (just like Ryan) and should be TOTALLY IGNORED! Can't wait for the album. Happy Birthday khardt, magpie86. Welcome gelikins!! Glad you joined us.

why are people flipping tits over BTIKM? JFC this week is the official adds... it's up to #41 on HOT AC already and anytime a song is just outside the top 40 BEFORE it even goes for adds that's a GOOD THING!! RCA is doing their job. The released the song MOST likely to get Adam back on the radio and this week they will start pushing the song to radio. They lined him up with interviews, they are letting the media hear parts of the album and the reviews so far have been off the wall amazing. The promo just started. I think y'all let the haters get in your head sometimes and you start believing what they say about Adam failing. I have more faith in Adam than to believe or even worry that he'll fail. He'll make himself a success... he's got the drive, the talent AND the fan support to do it. so just calm down and relax... Adam's got this under control.

They have a morning show called Kramer and he has two "sidekicks" Holly and Miguel. Miguel is a proud and out gay man. They talk about his relationships as much as they talk about their own. I LOVE their show and have no doubt that 98.7 will be playing and supporting Adam.

yep... Kelly's fans were sure the song was a total fail and that RCA should dump it and go with something else. Hell they still claim the song is a dud single LOL LOL, exactly. And it was released Aug. 30, without all that random lead time, which RCA master-minded, so how in the world can they even be surprised by the unorthodoxy of it? (And also why I don't believe the "sources close to the label," LMAO! MKIA has been out a week shy of FIVE months and it's just now getting to where I'm hearing it regularly on my HAC. It's never been played on my CHR (or added, IDT), but it's likely to hang around for a long time. As Adam fans, we're hyper-aware of all the dates surrounding him, and four weeks can seem like a long time when we long for the single to zip up the charts. With other artists, we're often unaware of how much time passed between the release of the song and the saturation of the song on the radio. We hear a song like MKIA over and over, see it near the top of the charts, and assume it leapt to that status overnight. I remember when we were angsting over WWFM, and someone pointed out that Kesha's Tik Tok took six months to get to #1. Half a year. Why do we worry when Adam's single doesn't achieve instant success?

It is the same posters over and over again that jump on the least hint of trouble immediately. Their history reveals their bias. It would do us all well to remember that five prolific posters can easily maintain a very large online presence that makes it feel as if many people share their thoughts. I think that 98% of the Idol butthurt syndrome (my Idol is better than your Idol) is perpetuated by about 0.001% of the fans- a few dedicated trolls. Any time I read anything that seems overly dramatic the very first thing I do is look up the posting/tweeting history of whomever is passing it along and most of the time the results will make you laugh. And if you do it often enough you can tell who is posting what merely by the tone of their post- it's not that hard, LOL. And once you realize who is repeatedly posting the same gloom and doom theories it is easy to dismiss those "opinions" as the non-sensical agenda driven ravings that they are. And certain popular Idol blogs are hotbeds of residual butthurt and not good places to hang out if you are easily thrown into angst-mode. Exactly - the idol blog place is poisonous in its perpetual angst and I too will look at someone's last 10 posts to see what their pattern of posts is before I decide if they have a valid point or are someone who enjoys stirring things up - in which case I ignore.
