Oh yeah, I agree lotsa pp watch the Sat morning vh1 show, and if it premieres on that, it's ok for me. But IIRC, last time IIHY premiered on vh1 ONLINE? That's what I didn't get, seemed much more logical for it to premiere on Vevo online, especially since I'm sure in exchange for the exclusivity Vevo would have offered some visibility for Adam on their website. And it just seems to me like Vevo visibility is more valuable than visibility on vh1.com (which Adam did get). Then again, vh1 also comes with the television part, and Adam did get the unplugged and so on... I don't really have data or info, just thinking out loud here.
Part of it is I wish Adam was more visible on Vevo in his last era, so I'm trying to plot ways to get there even tho I have no say whatsoever. mwahahahaha #pinkyandthebrain #obscurecartoonreference
ETA: True wonderstruck, vh1 are total berts. Maybe that's worth it to Adam/his label in terms of reach to the target population and so on. I don't really know what kind of audience vh1 targets and how widespread their reach is, versus Vevo.

WoW!!!BTIKM Moving up in Top 40 and Music video in few days! It will be good idea if Adam can promote the next single in Europe. Most people discover him on AMAs and this may gives an idea how the whole album sound like. Just speculating! Some pretty for this page, cropped and modified from Adam-pictures.com

IMHO,Adam is the Jackie Robinson of the music industry at this point. As Adam said there aren't many gay folks in music right now. He is alone ,during a huge push back against LGBT civil rights. Adam explained that movies and TV are a bit better now for gay performers but music, not so much. He doesn't even have great support from his own team.
His fans are his supporters and whether we want to admit it or not, when he said if it were't for us he wouldn't be making this second album, He meant it. He is telling us what is happening, are we listening? Is it too painful for us to see the up hill battle Adam has to be an artist in this country?
I know ,I thought it would be easier to get Adam on air this time, but I believe it may even be harder. Is it no wonder that Adam feels so thankful to AI and to RCA. They have backed him ,when others ignored his unimaginable talent. Look at the candidates running for president, listen to how Rick Santorum wants to reverse all gay rights, reverse all rights women have won, and take the vote away from the blacks. Our country is in a war of ideals.I see it here in North Carolina. A vote this May to have a state constitutional amendment outlawing gay marriage and equal rights.A local mayor who fights against equality for her LGBT government employees, because her church forbids it. Adam sings of love for all he sings of the universal feelings we all share ,unfortunately, half the nation isn't buying it.
Someday when there is actual equality in America ,I hope Adam receives all the recognition he deserves. He only wanted to be a singer, but he is 'Trespassing' and some may want to stop his music. THANK YOU for saying this. Interestingly enough after reading yesterday's thread and this morning as I lay in bed thinking about this whole subject THIS is exactly what I was thinking about. The part of the US that is SO against gays, women's rights, changing voting laws to favor the anti-civil liberties and so on. I know this is an Adam fan site, but we can't be blind to these facts that DO affect Adam directly, and therefore his success in the US. What I was concluding as I thought about it as: I do think this era will still be an uphill battle for Adam in the US. Think of how many Dj's and Pd's may be in the Santorum type of mindset and will do whatever they can to prevent Adam from being on radio, and yes, I believe even try things to sabotage. I DO believe at the end of the day Adam WILL be the worldwide super star we know he is, but that is what it will take, IMHO, to overcome the bigots that still run this country. This is why I think perhaps, and hope, he will take off in the UK this time around. And if that happens, it will go a long way to helping the cause. And a little help from music legends like Queen isn't a bad thing and will go a long way to his acceptance there. Adam's day will come, I just know it. But he is right when he talks about the struggle and how if it wasn't for the fans he wouldn't be making the second album. I believe he is trying to say it in a PC way so as not to tip the "apple cart" to far or give fans too much angst. This is a day of happiness with the Lyndsey interview and all the great things to come so not looking to re-hash yesterday's thread to the negative. But a reality check is needed, even if it would be nicer to think otherwise. We know Adam has the voice, talent and charisma so it is not that which holds him back on the US. Ok, unicorns and rainbows on top and hoping none of what this post says is truly happening but just wanted to put in my thoughts on the matter since I have been keeping it to myself. And in a happy thought, look how much Adam and the fans have already accomplished in the several years he has been on the scene. :D

If the tweeter is correct, and she got an e-mail that says, VEVO, why are you all talking about a premier on VH1. Isn't VEVO, on Monday, the premiere??

Hmmm, interesting... From twitter: Brooksy @brooksyonair I talk on the radio..Starbucks kid. Kylie is the queen of pop..The West Wing is the best tv ever.. Interested in NLP..Radio all the way.Views expressed are mine Brooksy @brooksyonair Amal Lambert fans.. I would exepct Adam to be in the UK to promote the next single (2nd) from what I've been told!. Thats all for now!
Michelle @baking4fun @brooksyonair Hi! Could you clarilfy your tweet about Adam? Is he promoting the single on the 2nd or promoting the 2nd singe? I'm confused Brooksy @brooksyonair @baking4fun Second single from what I'm being told.JB @flyteness1 So let me get this right @brooksyonair said that when Adam is over here in Feb, he'll be promoting his 2nd single?. Cuckoo, Trespassing? Brooksy @brooksyonair @flyteness1 I was told it would be later than Feb and the second single is the one they are promoting! Know nothing else I'm afraidWasn't the consensus that Brooksy was a bit of a knob and not to be relied on?

I know most of my posts lean to the deep end and I am often dropping off tidbits that are loosely topical. But whenever I discover something great I have a sincere desire to share it with all of you. You guys are kindred spirits, comrades, friends. These few years have been a journey of discovery for me. For someone who has always believed herself to be progressive and open minded, I have found that there is always room to learn and grow. I prefaced this "drop off link" because I really think it is worth a listen. It is more than an hour, so bookmark it if you can't listen now. If you have been on a similar journey, please listen. Marc Maron interviews the 47 year old comedian, Todd Glass, on his WTF podcast. Todd comes out as a gay man in this interview and touches on so many of the issues that we have been sorting through on ATOP, but from a perspective that was new and fresh to me. Honest, raw, and often funny. WOW -- he made me feel what "trespassing" feels like. Listen -- you won't regret it -- I don't do twitter, but someone should tweet it to Adam www.wtfpod.com/podcast/episodes/episode_245_-_todd_glassFYI: lots of use of the word FUCK and some adult themes (I don't think this will scare too many ATOPers away though )

I wonder if they decided to push the second - more uptempo - single in the UK market? Of course, this is just one person, so grain of salt and all that. This is like 3rd hand info LOL Wouldn't be surprised if true. The UK info we have been getting has been so much about the album songs and anything but about BTIKM. Has always seemed to me like the UK had blinders on to the first single and that the push has been more about Adam as a singer, songwriter and performer and the album than about the current single. And factor in that the peeps there don't seem to really be enticed with BTIKM and are raving about many of the others. It seems inevitable the UK will get a different single for the big UK push, IMHO anyway:-) AND YEAH Yay for #38 on HAC! *Happy Dance*
