So, I know this really belongs in the numbers thread, so please move if necessary.......but, BTIKM had a good day yesterday and today is number 38 on HAC, with a nice bullet. And may I just say that I am a world class worrier, seriously. In fact I am so good at it that I am paid very well to do it professionally. I have had in the past sleepless nights over GNAFL, but I am totally zen about the whole situation now. What changed it all for me was his Queen performance. I only longed for a platform big enough for the world to see/ hear him and I knew once that happened all would be okay. Have a happy Wednesday everyone! XX I don't get paid to worry but I do have a certain flair for the angst in life. I agree with the bolded bit - I have learnt to let go and the Queen performance, and the praise afterwards, made me see he deserved the success coming to him. Karma |

What is the BEST vid of the EMA performance that we have? Preferably the directors cut one that has the close ups of Adam in THMGO.
I know somebody posted it the other night, but I can't find it.
And 4M, I just looked through your EMA thread in performances, it is totally Awesome,

Coming out of newbie lurkdom...someone nice over at TWOP sent me over here to find refuge. I will never be the gifmaster you-all are, but wanted to say hello and chime in briefly on the discussion.
I truly don't care that some people don't like Adam or his music. Fine. What's distressing to me on multiple levels is how vicious the hatred is. There are easily a dozen posters over on TWOP who live to say nasty things on his thread. That's all they do--they don't support anyone else, they just target Adam. They get banned, they get new IDs, they start again. WTH?
So when Adam is singled out by these DJs in such a mean-spirited way, it seems like a similar level of special nasty. After all, if the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference, why go to the trouble of tweeting out these things? They like to blame the fans, but you can't tell me Archie's fans haven't been just as active in their support of him.
So...yes, some of us worry. I'm with those who believe that Adam isn't going to be a Bieber (and thank the deities for that), and if he gets to have a longer career that's more of a niche, that's okay too. (I do like the Grateful Dead analogy.)
But at the same time, being all-too human, I'd love to see the Nasties have to eat their words for a change.
ETA: Thanks so much for that EMA link. That performance makes me sooooo happy.
