I loved all.of today's threads, but I especially loved Brian's lovely words about Adam. He really "gets" Adam and respects him both as a singer and as a human being. I'm so happy that Adam led me to get to know Brian May.
I'm out of town for a few days so just checking in on my phone from time to time. The snippets of Adam on Starstruck are so great. He's a born showman whether or not he's performing a song. Yum.

Interesting and important discussion, I think. In terms of “unwashed masses” appeal, I am not sure if he has given up on it yet. After all, he just did an onslaught of worldwide promo. I'm just not sure going this much fashion forward is appealing to the "masses". He did mention in one of the interviews that "keeping it down hasn't made any difference" in terms of wider appeal and so he decided not to hold it back. Cool. He's being his wonderful glittery self. However imo it limits the audience significantly. |
