So Shosh is heading back to NY while Adam goes to Maldives for a few days. I wonder if Adam will go to NY after Maldives and if there is something happening in NY. I think the QAL announcement should be soon. I expect they are waiting for Adam's solo PR frenzy to abate first. A well times QAL announcement could actually help HD sales & streaming. That just seems odd. I have heard some guessing that the Maldives may be his private event and then maybe staying a few days to rest up-but who knows. The instas and tweets they put up just leave a guessing game going on. I guess it makes it exciting. It didn't make sense to me that he would travel all the way to the Maldives from NZ with yet another time zone/date change just for a rest. We have no way of knowing if Adam is with her or not. Too bad we didn't get to see any of the promo from NZ, but we sure have been treated to a lot over the past few weeks. Love that the album is doing so good and the label is supporting him so well. He sure deserves it. This is far out, but I was thinking about his Antinous tatoo and the story he told about Antinous myth about the sacrifice, and it hit me, Adam was the sacrifice 14 years ago, so there could be this shift in diversity and acceptance. I know, my brain goes to strange places.  We are assuming Adam was in NZ. But if he was, he didn’t do any promo while here. So far we’ve had one radio interview (the Edge) and one TV (The Project NZ) both of which were done from Aussie. We’re still waiting on one other radio interview that was also recorded when he was in Oz. I saw someone speculating that he was here to film an episode as a judge on Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under which is apparently filming at the moment. But we actually don’t know anything! 😔 I can tell you us kiwis were so frustrated knowing he was likely here but knowing nothing about exactly where and why!!!! 🤷♀️😩 |

Inadvertent sacrifice, pre-legalization of gay marriage, push the envelope far enough that it almost becomes a meme "is it Adam Lambert level?" I've been really impressed with these interviews that he's finally, lol, paying attention to politics. Someday I want to see him on Bill Maher. |

Who was Shosh responding to? Lurleene posted in the previous thread that she couldn't believe a fan would send something like that to Billboard and Adam...I'm not on twitter, so I was curious what it was about. The original poster had the decency the delete the tweet Shosh was replying to, so it is hard to tell now who it was. Unless somebody took an actual screenshot... As far as I can remember, the post was bitching about the lack of play (and maybe promo) in the US. Yep. They were responding to the positive Billboard tweet and copied in BB and Adam and saying he was not appreciated in his own country but doing well in other countries or something like that. |
