Now, from the horse’s mouth, Adam was going to open for Xtina. how do you feel about that? I thought we already knew that. While we all think Adam is deserving of his own stardom, there’s no way he’d receive equal billing with her at this point.e love him and know he’s great, but if you look at streaming, sales, etc., he really can’t be considered a huge artist, as talented and wonderful as he is. On this fan site, we get to see links to every article and mention of Adam (sometimes multiple times). But if you look at Mai see entertainment news on sites like MSN, CNN, Reuters, etc. etc., you don’t see him. I really wish it was otherwise, and I don’t want to seem negative, but that’s what I see. Last fall we were on a trip,a I mentioned to a 30-something person (from California) that I really liked Adam Lambert, and she said “wasn’t he a one-hit wonder?” I clued her in about his albums and Queen, but… It was kind of a bummer. I love Adam, and I want him to have all the success in the world. And I believe he’s doing just fine. But unless something extraordinary happens, I don’t think we’re going to see him headlining big arena tours, as much as we’d love to see that.

Not a big fan of Xtina, voice or personality, so I'm glad it didn't happen. Although I'm not really a concert goer anyway, so it wouldn't have made any difference.

I’ve seen several people saying they’re glad it didn’t happen. But Adam wanted it! Just because some of us might not be fans of Xtina (I’m not) doesn’t mean that it would have been bad for him. Just because we might not like something doesn’t mean it shouldn’t happen…

Just because we might not like something doesn’t mean it shouldn’t happen… Well, like I said, for me it wouldn't have made any difference, since I wouldn't have gone anyway. And if there were videos, I would have just watched Adam lol. And if he wants it to happen that badly, maybe his people can keep pursuing opportunities. But I have to admit, the lead singer for Queen opening for Christina Aguilera has a weird sound to it.

Now, from the horse’s mouth, Adam was going to open for Xtina. how do you feel about that? I was surprised because I thought it was going to be a co-headlining tour. Not sure if opening for Xtina (or any other pop diva) this late in his career would have been helpful or made his fans happy about a US Velvet tour but it would have made him happy, lol. He loves his pop divas. He is soooo talented, and so charming that they would have been buddies in no time! He is a friend-maker and communicator par excellence!!!
