Adam Lambert and Jax are among the artists participating in an upcoming fundraiser to support drag performers amidst recent anti-LGBTQ legislation. The Drag Isn’t Dangerous telethon is set to take place Sunday, May 7, and will be broadcast live at moment.co/dangerous.
NOW That’s What I Call Music! Vol. 86, featuring hits from 16 major artists, including Pink, Lady Gaga and Lewis Capaldi, comes out May 5. NOW That’s What I Call Proud, featuring hits from LGBTQ artists including Elton John, Adam Lambert and Melissa Etheridge, goes on sale the same day.

WOW, such acclaim and publicity from one silly song! I am loving it.
Maybe his new PR firm can get some of his own music out there. HIS music - Closer to You, Velvet, Overglow (I know it's in his attic, but it's not gone, just packed up). Personally, I would love to see a re-release of Velvet in some manner. I listed to that album every morning of the pandemic when we were all shut in.
I would LOVE to hear West Coast, Do You Want to Hurt me, I Can't Stand the Rain in the Queen setlist. I think any of those would really work. Brian would be great with the guitar on West Coast.

Following the discussion about Adam and radio play, I did find this tweet. According to this fan Adam was black listed on radio stations. From all I‘ve seen over the past 8 years since becoming a fan, this sounds true. And it’s the reason, why the labels couldn’t push him further, even if they wanted. If the big radio bosses don’t want to play someone, then even the labels don’t stand a chance. And these radio bosses have many many radio stations beneath them, which are all connected. The radio stations don’t decide, who is played. It’s the big bosses, that make the list. And these bosses are still rather white conservative men, who were more than ready to blacklist Adam after the AMAs.
