On May 2, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. PDT, the Writers Guild of America (WGA)—representing 11,500 screenwriters—went on strike over an ongoing labor dispute with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).

I‘ve been wondering about that as well. But nothing can stop Adam from writing for himself. Who would even know, when he wrote it. And if it’s his own music - who cares? A problem would likely be to collaborate with other writers, as Adam likes to do. The WGA does not affect plays written on Broadway. TY, tomba, good to know. |

I do follow Oliver. So that is where I see most info. But sometimes he is very cryptic, like the work space the other day, LOL. I am guessing Adam is still in NYC. The actors on broadway are not members of SAG-Aftra, but I don’t know about the writers. I’d love to know if the script for the musical can still be worked on. Although, Adam is a member, I think. If so, that kind of leaves him in limbo as far as writing goes. I would love to know who can do what during this strike. After Velvet and the pandemic, I would hate to see this strike mess up the musical. . you post the most here from what I’ve seen. You’re clueless. Adam isn’t in NY |

I listened to Brian’s live Star Fleet presentations today. He said they are working on the new tour version. I count 11 weeks from Wednesday for opening night. Wonder if it’s virtual at this point or they will be getting together soon. Since it’s a US Tour, I imagine live rehearsals will be here but that will probably be in September. It is probably a wise thing for Adam to keep his professional career separate from his personal life. That way, the media is not picking up everything he is doing (or who he is doing it with) on his private time. They likely check his instagram postings and twitter to see if there is anything to report or that Adam wants reported. But they are unlikely to be interested enough to look to see what Oliver or his friends (mostly selfies of themselves) are posting about things mostly unrelated to Adam's career. Adam works hard and needs his personal time. So it is a good thing for him to have something for himself that he does not need to share with everyone unless he chooses, imo. I'm one of the fans who does not care that much about his personal life tho glad he has one, lol. It was terrible when Adam posted something by mistake regarding his boat outing with Sam Smith and some friends. The media picked up some unflattering comments that Sam made about Michael Jackson and made an awful big deal of it. Unsure if their friendship survived (hope I'm wrong) as I have not seen them together since that time.

I was thinking more of the script for the musical. I don’t know who governs whom. Hopefully, he is not affected.

I just thought it was odd that there was really nothing personal anymore in his instagram. I didn’t know you could block content to only show to certain groups. He deserves his privacy. love the a greeting I just saw of him wishing Brian a happy bday. His scrubbed face is gorgeous! At least I think it’s scrubbed. LOL |
