Light Adam is who you want to wake up with. WOW Buder! You said it! And that is Adam, both of those things... Someone you want to go to bed with and wake up with. Oh wait, I do that very often, virtually speaking, LOL |

Hello, everyone, here on Atop :D This Sunday afternoon, which is not normally my favourite part of the week/day, has just skyrocketed to blissful heavens when I learned that I have a whole WEEK OFF WORK because my country is literally paralysed by snow. Oh, free time!!!Oh, pure unlimited leisure !!!  I wanted to say something about THE VIDEO :D All interpretations boil down to the same Light Vs Dark, Yin/Yang, Freudian Id/Ego/Superego thing, which is all true and correct and perfectly illustrated by this: I have a problem with the "Versus" part. The Light and the Dark Adam are not opposed to each other, or against each other in any way. To me it's obvious from the start that they are connected in some way and the mystery gets resolved by the end of the video. They communicate all the time. LA wants to play w/ DA, ball, chess, whatever... He likes DA, they both obviously have this urge to interact, he's reproachful and goes all "mother hen" with his tsk-tsking on DA. It's not the first time DA's been misbehaving:) All DA's tantrums are directed towards LA. He hates LAs puritanism, his "goody-two-shoes"iness and wants to corrupt him. Here's your book, I'm ripping it apart, you annoying little f***er, like he says. They annoy, but they don't hate each other. Far from it. But they are also physically connected, in spite of the thin glass dividing them. They share air, through joined air pipes. They are one , and even if they wanted, they couldn't live without each other. Which they don't want to begin with. The minute DA realises he's going to kill LA with fire induced lack of oxygen, he saves him. But he's also saving himself, and he knows it. It's not so noble a gesture as it is an intelligent one. If LA dies, he dies, too. The final image of the "third" Adam where DA and LA merge is not the ending of the video. It's actually the beginning of the whole story and the video just elaborates on it. Explains it. He's not the "third" Adam, he's the only one. The gorgeous, knee-buckling, stunningly handsome one. And if the different-coloured-eyes thing isn't a wink to Bowie, albeit a far-fetched one, I don't know what is   I love your take on this and agree 100%.  |

This is exactly why I never "like" it. I do not want that all shows on facebook page. 8-) I'm so ashamed to say that but I personally have a problem with revealing my AL obsession. It really bothers me because I love him very much but I worry my friends would hurt him by some very 'funny' comments. Maybe I'm totally shallow but that's because Adam is kinda controversial. Though, recently I've been thinking hard whether to take a risk and add his video to my FB page so others could see it... I'm such a bad fan  [laugh] My husband and I share a facebook page. There is NOTHING Adam on it as 1) my husband eyerolls Adam and 2) I use Facebook even less than I use Twitter. However as my internet time is limited and I choose to spend what time I do have here, I don't get worked up about it. At some point in time I may need to open my own Facebook page. But in the meantime it just seems to be another time suck I can't afford. Adam will have to live without my Facebook "like" and just deal with my purchases and concert attendance! |

To whoeer brought up a Bowie collab....as cool as that would be, it's probably HIGHLY unlikely to happen since he's kinda retired and stuff now, and Adam probably is going to collab with someone younger and more current in order to get radio play. Bruno, Katy, Jesse J, a rapper on his track. Whatever.
But Bowie would be quite the coo

I'm still back at p4, but wanted to know if anyone else is having problems watching BTIKM video?? I get the vevo page but the vid isn't showing up.. ??? Its working fine for me. |

I don't show favorites on my FB page. I have never done that, I just don't feel comfortable doing it. It's not a question of being ashamed, it's a matter of personal comfort level.
I am not ashamed of my love for Adam. I'm quite open about that in my real life, although I don't talk about it a lot unless with a like-minded person.
What I DO NOT want to reveal is my OBSESSION. I "like" a lot of videos on YT, and almost every one of them is an Adam video!!
If they all showed up on my FB wall I really would look-- how shall I say it-- cuckoo. I'm very aware that I am a little-- or a lot-- over the edge-- and i just prefer to keep that to myself, thank you.
I do share an occasional performance or article about Adam and will share the BTIKM video, too, because it is sublime.
I do not consider myself less of a fan, or uncommitted to openness, or cowardly in any way.
I don't think people need to feel bad about their decisions regarding how or what they share.

The quick recap from listening only once (not a word by word translation): They start with the latest media confusion re Queen and go into Adam's semi- denial. They are waiting for the confirmation one way or the other, but prefer the appearances with Queen to happen. They go over the history of Adam-Queen "relationship" starting from the Idol Finale, the rumors re "Queen asked Adam"... etc...the EMAs, Brian's and Roger's comments... [all data is accurate BTW - kudos to their research team]... they are very complementary to Adam for saying he cannot replace Freddie and taking it all as honor - they say that he is obviously very smart and grounded and not in any danger to become effected by the typical "star behavior"... They congratulate Glamberts with Adam's gift - the new video, which they LOVE, describe the idea : Adam in fluffy sweater vs Adam's alter ego "golden-eye demon" , and recommend everyone to watch the video. also encourage everyone to vote for BTIKM...which is on top yet again... overall - very enthusiastic and complimentary!
