Yep. Super Bowl performers don't get paid. They do it for the publicity. I actually wonder if this album of hers is more of a publicity vehicle for her other projects. The light-as-air nature of her first single doesnt convey any artistic growth or new vision IMO. It's just kind of '80s throwback fun. That could work for a new kid on the block, I think, but one with her body of work?? IDGI Yeh, you are saying exactly what I thought too. My hubby and I were talking this a.m. and I commented how I thought I would have heard growth with her new music. As long as she's been in the biz I expected something more -- a new twist or something. There are people out there now doing this and doing it better. Not to compare the two but look at someone like Joni Mitchell. She is into sounds now that I would not have imagined her doing when I was first introduced to her music. Her body of work is still her own but now after decades so uniquely different from when she started. It's a progression of an artists POV. In any case, we also discussed what her daughter may be thinking. Hopefully, she's supremely proud of her Mom but I wonder how I would feel -- don't know, haven't walked in those shoes. In any case, I refuse to be an ageist and comment that she should leave this to the younger kids. I for one know what it's like to have a young heart. Unfortunately, my heart is not residing in a body as well toned and honed as Madonna's. I hope she kills it and then, afterwards, can be just a little humble. I'm really late getting online today and who knows what has been discussed but...I was watching an interview with Madonna a week or so ago and she said she was doing this album/upcoming tour for money. She needs money as she invested so much in her movie venture. Perhaps her heart really isn't into it, and she's just "phoning it in" so to speak, to rake in some cash. This is what it seems like to me. We'll see in March when we hear the whole album. So far.....I'm way underwhelmed.

Can anyone tell me how to unfollow something on Facebook. I must have clicked LIKE at some of the websites articles on Adam and now they're all over my page. I don't see anywhere to click Unfollow. :-/ Two things you can do: 1) If you want to continue to "like" the site, but don't want to see their posts all over your wall-- hover your mouse over one of their posts and you will see a little down-arrow symbol on the top right. Click on that and then you can select "Hide all by _____ (whatever the site's name is)" This way, you won't see anything they post. 2) If you want to get rid of them altogether, click on their name, and that will take you to their FB page. On the left-hand side, if you scroll down, there are several options. Select "Unlike" and you will no longer have this site as part of your friends list. ETA: Oops, Jablea, I see we cross-posted.
