While I'm post hogging I just wanted to say something obvious:
YOU DON'T NEED TO LISTEN ALL THE TIME TO EVERY ONE OF YOUR LOCAL STATIONS TO REQUEST FROM THEM. Really, nobody is checking. It's great if you are listening occasionally, and can thank the DJ for a play afterwards, but if you don't have the time or inclination that day, don't worry about it, just request (letting them know you are local) and go on your merry way.
Lol in a weird kind of synchronicity I just got a call last night to be in a 2 hour research focus group in early March about radio play and my preferences on my local Top 40 and HAC stations. If I can I will report back as to what goes on there, and try to subtly work *cough*Adam*cough* into the discussion while hiding my stan card. ;D
tigerlily - late, but I appreciate you, because you so often say what I was thinking and save my fingers from typing it :D

I have academic access to journals, but this particular one isn't available as a full text article at my university. I can order a copy of it, but it will take a couple of days to get it. I hope someone gets it as I'd love to read it. Yeah, me and everyone else Me, too. I can email you a PayPal payment for whatever charges. Thanks, in advance.

That Katomo feature was a treat! And I didn't understand a word of what she was saying. ;D ;D But it was obviously a rather in-depth, respectful piece about Adam. No sensationalism or pandering.
Was this taped the day after he had been so sick? It seems like someone said that earlier. Adam was much more subdued and low key than in other interviews. But, looking at the setting for the interview, and looking and listening to the interviewer, I think it is more a reflection of Adam doing his "thing" of matching the interviewer's communication style and body language. Damn! He looked classy!

Loved the Finnish interview. Amazingly difficult language it seems; I speak Dutch, English, German and a little bit of French and Finnish did not sound even remotely familiar to me No wonder Adam only knows about 10 words, that is about the extent of my hubbies Dutch vocab Did not care for the New Zealand thing, seemed strange to have an advert for Bruno Mars in an Adam Lambert interview, unless they are subliminally preparing us for something;)

Good lord, I just got my first twitter follower (got an email). : : It's some sort of music performer. I don't intend to use the account except to follow Lynne's son and Adam. I never look at it.

Yeah, me and everyone else As a 'thank you' for doing a peer review for a SAGE journal, I have 30 days access to any/all of their journals...as soon as I 'activate' it....but not Taylor & Francis which is the publisher of this Journal on "Celebrity Studies"...hence, the request. I no longer have my regular academic access, sadly.... If anyone finds anything pub. by SAGE that they would like I am happy to download and forward...just let me know. Would love to read this article.....

mszue, pretty sure that photo is not from TFM. It is from an Idol performance. I'm sure Gelly will know exactly which one. Oh I see you are right...hmmm...well my comments still stand. I think Time for Miracles could be amazing with a different production more in tune with the song instead of the film.....am I the only one??? I loved the song Time for Miracles. It should have been a hit. The video: Adam looked like a reject from a tanning salon. I don't know who did his make-up, but he could have looked better. The song, I still adore, and I still play it for myself occasionally. His voice was incredible on the recording.
