Regarding the question about the Queen press helping BTIKM get airplay -- it is having no measurable effect Here are the numbers for the past 7 days vs. the prior 7 days on HAC in the US. Peak #31 Last week #31 This Week #32 ADAM LAMBERT Better Than I Know M... 19/RCA 2011 Spins TW 510 LW 501 Change +9 (This is 7 days vs. 7 days) Stations playing 44 up 2 from yesterday Average spins per station TW 8.6 LW 8.5 +0.2 TW vs. LW -- down 0.2 since yesterday On Pop radio, it is #64 this week vs. #63 last week in spin rank. LAMBERT, ADAM Better Than I Know Myself Spins this week 242 last week 193 change +49 Total Audience Impression past 7 days 0.745 (in millions) I think the numbers speak for themselves -- BTIKM is stalled or has peaked. It has enough adds to move up the charts -- particularly on HAC. The fate of this track is in the hands of radio listeners and fans. If PDs and DJs hear that their audience wants to hear BTIKM, they will play it. I talked to several PDs who added BTIKM to their playlist -- they tell me they are not getting requests. ETA: Now is when requesting BTIKM really matters. It is at a tipping point. And this is when a few fans can make a difference. I LOVE my PIA ;D ;D ;D so I always vote and request! I am curious though, radio stations do not play Katy Perry, Bruno etc. just because of requests I assume. So, my question is, what is the criteria for an artist to count on radio play "Without" listeners requesting? Is it the number of albums they sell?

Thank you ladies so much for this, and all the translations you do. It occurs to me that since Sauli knows of your translations, he also knows of Adamtopia. Do you think he checks your translations? Maybe even other parts of the forum? Do you think there is any chance he may occasionally point something out to Adam? I have never thought that Adam reads ATop. But, with the translation connection and Sauli being aware of it, there IS a possibility. Don't know whether that pleases me or embarrasses me. You are welcome . About Sauli, we don't know. He knows us and what we do. He's once used our translation of Tutka to point out the importance on which finger he has the ring, and what ring it is. He had the direct link to the translation so was he given it or did he come to get it form SC himself? Everything is possible. His sister follows me in twitter too, so she sees all the links I tweet when we have something new. So who knows who reads here what and when and if and so on. Hmmm. I'm sure they all have better things to do than read here, but just in case... does my avi make me look fat? :-[

ETA: Now is when requesting BTIKM really matters. It is at a tipping point. And this is when a few fans can make a difference. I'm a little confused by what you said in the bolded part above.. There have been posters here who have been requesting regularly and still don't hear BTIKM played with any frequency. Also, does everything that's played on the radio require requests? It was my impression that it was up to the PDs as to how often a song gets played and what kind of rotation it's on, and not on requests. I listen to KLLC and I can't believe that some of the songs they play have many requests at all, and yet it seems they are spinning BTIKM less, which I noticed today. Some of these songs they play are old songs, yet a new song like BTIKM is getting less spins. It's all very confusing.. ??? You are a mind reader ;D, I just asked the same question. I am very interested to know when an artist gets radio play without listeners having to request. Must be some sort of check list you have to meet.

Mahalo! BTW, I think Adam is too strong, too smart, too creative and has too much integrity to ever sell out-- musically or personally. I don't know any more than any of you what's going on with BTIKM or with his album. but he does want to conquer the pop world and I will support him. Period. (unless he starts kicking puppies or something) What if they're evil puppies? >:(

cayman, he needs one huge hit, followed by another and then radio will play anything he puts out! It will happen. Trespassing is going to do this for him. I can feel it!
