* More important - In a one hour show will there be time for Ryan to interview Adam after the performance? Fitting into that hour (besides Adam) will be: 1.- Diddy mentoring the contestants' fashion, etc. This would probably show him with each of the contestants. 2.- Diddy's performance 3.- Ryan chatting with all the contestants and a "review" of the previous night 4.- The "dim the lights" bit & the result 5.- The unveiling of Cook's new boot song I thnk someone already answered that the mentoring stuff would be part of the previous day's performance show. I don't think #5 actually takes ANY time - I don't remember them "unveiling" the boot song in season 8 (only one I watched.) I think they just play it as they show the final video thing and everyone hugs the one going home. I don't even remember them saying the name of the song or who was singing it. |

Q3, wasn't Adam the last thing, before the elimination, last year too? I mean, who would want to go after the green tornado and that vocal? I looked up for that show just now and Adam was indeed the last thing before the eliminations. 8-) |

Q3I checked this out and I saw that you asked for Adam's mother's birth name. adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=preadamtopiaI don't have confirmation or a reference other than google, but her maiden name may have been Mitchell. I'm pretty sure you're right, although I believe that it's spelled with only one L--Mitchel--as is Adam's middle name. If you google Leila Mitchel, you can even find something about a "Leila Mitchel Lambert Trust," which would be a legal document, so the spelling should be correct. |

So much inspiration this morning... KAPSIZ, I applaud your courage to take your step toward the life you want to lead. It was very brave to put your journey out there. You ARE the message of Aftermath! We all are in our own ways. Atop is not, to me, some random virtual place, but a family, a kinship. It is unique that way. Sending support your way!!  NOANGEL, you are brilliant! You have captured what I have been thinking about empowerment. Adam walks the walk and Aftermath reflects moving on and growing, by steps or leaps. That is why I follow him. He learns from the past but doesn't wallow in it or separate himself out from the rest of the world. I truly respect other artists wanting to make a difference and I know some of them have been bullied too. Lyrically, though, the poignancy and hope of Aftermath cannot be matched. Thank you. Q3,, Predictions...... What I see in my brief viewing of Idol this year is that it is all about SLICK. Big productions, the girls pretty much all dressed like kewpie dolls..everyone trying too hard. It is not organic. Too many coaches. Too much emphasis on that finished product. Adam has watched..he knows..and when Adam sees everyone doing this..he will do 'that'. I agree the emphasis will be on the vocals. Yesssirreee. And that there will be something to set this Aftermath apart from GNT. Dunno what, but it will subtle and powerful. Bet there is not a dry eye in the house. I see Skingraft too and the accessible natural look. All a ;Dbout the music and the lyrics. Great predictions you have, Q3. I know he will always surprise...in a good way. I wonder how he is feeling about performing in front of Steven Tyler?? But I don't remember for sure. Anyone else know? No matter when he performs, it will be the performance most people remember in the morning. I don't remember another performer from last year. LOL Adam seems to make me forget everything and everyone else. #GNAFLAmnesia |

I looked up for that show just now and Adam was indeed the last thing before the eliminations. 8-) And of course nobody remembered (talked about) who got voted off that night!! I sure don't remember who got eliminated - just how non-professional and sadsack they all looked in their "street clothes". Adam's performance and appearance just emphasized how exciting they *weren't*!! |
