I have read the comment and I am confident that the full amount of the pledges will get donated one way or the other. I am going to work as hard as I can to get people to donate and blow that matching fund away. There are a number of people waiting to donate. So who knows what tomorrow will bring but the main thing is this is a wonderful charity and a great way to thank Adam. Q3, I am still not sure how this works. Do I wait to see if $5,000+ donations are counted or do I just go ahead and put my donation and my matching $100 in? Yeah, I think it would be helpful to have someone (or someone's) counting during the day. Should they gently nudge one donor at a time as 20 people donate? It could be encouraging to see the matches made. The matcher should probably put "matched! the 20 donors below this entry in the the Leap Day Challenge." or something. Or was the plan to poke the matchers and have them donate after the 24 hours is up? Would be good to figure this out ahead of time.  |

For those who signed up for our matching funds ... When do we sign in to donate our pledge? 1. Do we wait until each $100 is met and take turns? 2. Do we wait till the end of the Feb 29th drive and donate our pledge anyway whether the full amount is met or not? 3. Do we need to indicate who the pledge is from to indicate we honor our commitment? 4. Just let us know how to proceed with the pledge Thank you  |

I am confused with the 2 threads with the Leap day Challeneg titles so i posted this in both threads.
I just did a count at the charity page and there are 24 donations totally $565 so far. The last one I counted was Mary Beutelman.
I can keep track of this, if you want Q3?

I just completed my donation of $100.00. Hope this is what I was suppose to do, I am a bit confused about the matching fund account. Anyway, I did make my donation for the challenge. Hope we get tons of donations :D

Another one confused about how this will be handled. Do we wait til the end of 2/29 (in all time zones) and then each person on the Match list adds their donation until the full amount is reached? I'm way down on the list because my name was missed originally but I'm donating my $100 anyway so it doesn't matter.

I would put Adamtopia "matching donation" in the comment section. Otherwise how do we know if it's a matchee or a matcher donation?

I tried counting the number of Leap Day Challenge donations the minute I got on the computer this morning, then realized I'd counted a couple of matching donations so went back and counted again. They're coming in fast, which is great! Makes it hard to count, though! I will do my best to keep up with it.
