Great audio. Am I the only one who really misses Kevin on this? (NOT a Tommy hater at all but I just really noticed a difference) Really? I thought Tommy sounds great. There are a few BTIKM over the past week where I thought the guitar sounded tinny. I love Kevin too. I think they are just different. ETA: LOL! Just caught up and read Aloha's post. Aloha, sometimes I think you are in my head! The first thing I thought when I heard Tommy's accompaniment is that it sounded fuller, not as thin as Kevin's. But, I love Kevin so this is not meant as a criticism. It may have just been a matter of style. Some people used to complain that Tommy liked the spotlight, which I never agreed with, but I got tickled watching the video and all Tommy seems to want to do is get off stage when Adam starts answering questions. I think Adam has a really awesome band now and just looking at them makes me smile. |

I was just thinking that, since Adam watched the You Tube videos, maybe the fans should be sure to make comments there. Who knows, maybe RCA is reading them too! And also, since he said his mom sent him the You Tube links last night, how did she get those so fast? Was she on Twitter waiting for LadyRinehart's vids to process like we all were? WOW what a day. --- Sound like Adam almost confirmed Cuckoo in the USA Today quotes: "On the three new songs he performed Thursday in Atlanta: "Wait till you hear the tracks. My mom sent me the YouTube videos. I listened to them, and you can't hear all the tracks we've been working so hard on, so that it gets on radio and turns into a big, worldwide hit." He wrote Cuckoo with Bonnie McKee, who has also written with Katy Perry and Britney Spears. "It's about embracing how crazy I really am, just celebrating your lunacy. Enjoying being a nutbag." Adam said "nutbag" - that's so funny. I've always heard "nutbar."  ETA- I much prefer when Kevin plays with Adam because I see such a connection musically. He seems atuned to every move and nuance of Adam's performance and I just don't see that same awareness when Tommy plays. I think Kevin brings a performance maturity/experience as well. I do think it's good that Adam has both so they can trade off when necessary. I haven't noticed "tinny" or "richer" but I think that's because I am so fixated on Adam's voice. ;D |

Damn, I was gone most of the day, have sooooo much to catch up on! I got home and immediately typed out this long story about talking to a DJ at 99.7 in KC this afternoon while I was out, and accidentally deleted the whole thing. Too tired to re-do it right now, but bottom line: "WE HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS KIND OF RESPONSE TO A PERFORMER COMING HERE BEFORE--EVER."She talked for 4:45 and just RAVED about Adam--I have to share the story with you guys, so will re-type it tomorrow. (I've used up my hands for the day.  ) I am going to try to catch up a little before I crash, but first THANK YOU FOR THOSE VIDS FROM LAST NIGHT MISHA! I love those 3 songs more and more in direct proportion to how many times I listen to them! ;D And LINDAG23, I PM'd you a BM tweet. They moved SXSW Burner meeting tomorrow because of the weather!
