If this is the song to be sung at AI, then I would like to see Adam split this song.... 1/2 half acoustic because his voice is just beautiful with the soft sultry, heartbreaking tone and then the last 1/2 of the song, sing the same version as the single. Sorta like the theme of the song, light/dark voices psst I love the voice but I was hoping for a really bouncy next single on the AI performance so that the audience could be grooving....oh well.. Anyone take an educated guess on his appearance? I expect Idol around the album release which is maybe 4/30 -- today Adam confirmed Mapril is May-April. I think the comment means they were trying to recapture some of the Idol audience he lost with glam, generally craziness, AMA performance, and so on. Hence the ballad, angstly love song -- BTIKM. All pretty consistent with what I have heard -- they wanted Adam to be accessible to a mainstream audience -- no/natural makeup, no wild outfits, no dance pop, "nice gay"JMHO chasing the MOR fickle AI audience is a fool errand. Adam needs to be Adam. Leave BTIKM to the HAC and AC station and release a Pop single. Just let Adam be Adam. I'm confused. Who is "they" and now whoever "they" are, they are puppetting Adam and he's dancing to their tune? And no dance pop? Hasn't Adam said 589,287 times that is what the album is? |

Even if he can get back their support from BTIKM, they will crucify him again when he sing/perform the sexy /OTT stuff on radio/tour.
He needs fans outside Idol who does not bother by his style.
Who think of that strategy ??? dumb

Two things I loved about this interview. First when we hear Chokehold studio version " the track is REALLY LUSH" You hear that aloha? 8-) And the other thing he said when he was asked about Rico Love,is that he wanted to put as many of the songs he wrote on the album! And he did. !! Rico Love's song said it wasn't written by him.  Yes!!! and YAY to both! Chokehold may not be suited for radio hitdom, but I know it'll be on repeat on my ipod. LUSH? Oh, hell yeah. As for Rico love, Adam knows what he wants and what suits his vision. Even more important for his future success, He knows how to say no. That's a huge thing for any artist. Good for him |

Watching ET guess what, Carrie Underwood's new video Good Girl copying Adam's BTIKM video idea.Two sides of one girl, one all sweet and the second carrie dressed like a rocker bad girl. I'm seething! The good and bad Carrie ,sound familiar.Of course you know this will be #1 on I Tunes. Grrrrrrr Britney/FYE, Carrie/BTIKM...oh, well, IMITATION IS THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY, right?  Wonder if BTIKM vid will get to #1 in UK?? It was SO close (#2) last I saw! Britney got the award for that... and I'm gonna be really mad if Carrie also win something for "copying" BTIKM.. >:( |

SusieFierce: I am thinking the discussion is more centered around the next single and what is being presented to radio/the general public at this point and would like to see Adam get a chance to get out of the safety box with the next single.
The fans all know what the album is about, but the face being portrayed to the general public seems a little different right now... that is all I am talking about anyway:-)
And while I agree and don't think Adam would do anything to overtly piss off the label, would that mean he may not have additional or contrary feelings that are different from the label/PTB about things sometimes...
Just all a speculative conversation...

And last but not least I'd like to apologize for my stupid infantile behavior from afternoon. When I was talking about these links I sounded like a furious primadona who cant make fun of herself. I just wanna let you know, you didn't offend me at all, I was completely serious. Please, if you have a feeling that I bother, just tell me. Probably I'm too zealous in doing all these activities related to Adam. The problem is that posting all these links for voting is for me the only way how to support him. Unfortunately I live so far away that I will never ever meet him in person. That makes me feel sad. Today I was crying because of it, not only, but it was one of the causes... I know I should be ashamed of myself and not to tell you, I just had to.... When you post your links every day, I vote. If you don't post them, I don't vote. Voting on those websites is VERY FAST AND EASY. Like you, I'm supporting Adam by voting on sites that you post. Like you, that's the only way I know how to support him right now, too.
