"Eating Your Own" Mentality; I don't understand that phrase when I read or heard it the first time. However it's easy to understand it whenever I go to most of Adam's article that were on gay websites and read all the comments below the articles. Adam's not only attacked by homophobics people on the mainstream media but also from his own community, Gay community. I have never understand why the gay community has this mentality and why? I wonder if this mentality comes from "I look better, prettier, hotter, sexier, and go to the gym so I have six pack and can pick up hotter guys than you better on Friday night?". Because the community is not that big so the competition's fierce-er. So they have to make the other guy looks smaller to get what they want.

I also wonder why Adam's attacked by his own community is because he's out and about. He's free to do what he wants in public eyes, he can bring Sauli on red carpets and still famous in US & Internationally. A lot of people loves him and began to accept him. Instead of happy and using his visibility to their advantage, some member of the community's jealous of what he has achieved. :-/ :-/ :-/

Gelly -do you remember how cold it was those nights of his GNTs in London and Birmingham? I stood in line for hours in Birmingham to get a good view only to find that the room was so tiny everyone was close. I was about six feet from him for the whole thing.

Adamme, I will never get that either. I deliberately do not read the comments section of gay articles any more than I would read the comments section of a TMZ or Perez article. It will only make me angry and spike my blood pressure.

Adam has endured soooo much from all sides and has been so incredibly brave and positive about it all. It was interesting how he said, Aaron Hicklin is such a sweet guy. They must've REALLY talked and got everything out. (Pun intended

) It makes me a little :-/ that Adam seems to blame himself in that statement for what went down between them, which I can't really see.

Gay men in the public eye ARE so damned if you do, damned if you don't – Ricky Martin does something so brave and comes out and it's, "Why didn't he do it sooner?" Really?? Very little credit for the risk he took and I'm glad Adam calls it out in that article.

It's not just the gay community. This happens with all minority groups or oppressed people. It is true in that children who are abused go on to abuse others, children who are bullied turn around and bully others. It is a way to take control and to not feel helpless. Definitely not healthy but unfortunately all to common.
