VH1 Top 20 Music Video Countdown (03.24.2012)#12 Adam Lambert "Better Than I Know Myself" (-1) I think with the new single choices being heard, the fans are abandoning BTIKM. :( |

The spin increases from yesterday are very small. Adam only went up 10 and he had been increasing an average of 24 per night. Also, Selena's drop was smaller. She lost 37 and had been losing between 40-70 spins a night. So, Adam might just miss passing her tomorrow. Mayer is only 8 spins behind Adam and he will definitely pass him in the next update. I have no idea if there are any recurrents. :-/ There are no anticipated recurrents on HAC this week. |

VH1 - #12 Rick Dees HAC Countdown - #26 AT40 - Extra again Unfortunately, #12 got the short treatment on VH1 this morning. That rarely results in an i-tunes bump and so far it hasn't. #475 last night and #481 right now. |

In spite of snippets & videos etc. I'm just spending more time on Adam - LOL. I really think it's more a case of the "other things" they base it on - chart position, sales, etc. rather than voting. I'm moving over to the "Want New Single Now" group! I wasn't there before because I hate to give up on BTIKM. But now........... |

I know this is bad, but I have a confession. I kind of gave up on BTIKM when it made Top 20. I mean I still vote on it here and there, but not as passionately and as much as I have in the past. :(

I am DEFINITELY voting & requesting as much as ever. The "ready for #2" is an internal thing in my own mind. Besides, even when single #2 is out, BTIKM needs to keep going on HAC. |

IMO it could be weeks before we get a new single in the US. Talking about wanting one isn't going to have any effect on when RCA decides it's time given the information they have access to. Also we don't know how long they want to test the new single options before picking one. Therefore I just maintain focus on cheerleading and requesting the single we have which is still progressing on HAC and has yet to peak there. It would be awesome to get BTIKM as high as we can to pave the way for single #2. |
