I think with the new single choices being heard, the fans are abandoning BTIKM. :( pretty sure there is a delay in the countdown, isn't there? so this would reflect voting before knowing about the single choice. IMO it could be weeks before we get a new single in the US. Talking about wanting one isn't going to have any effect on when RCA decides it's time given the information they have access to. Also we don't know how long they want to test the new single options before picking one. Therefore I just maintain focus on cheerleading and requesting the single we have which is still progressing on HAC and has yet to peak there. It would be awesome to get BTIKM as high as we can to pave the way for single #2. No one has ever figured out if the countdown is delayed or not. I tend to think "No" because some videos have made the countdown their first week. But then, BTIKM taking 2 weeks to make it, makes no sense. :-/ |

I'm an optimist and would love to see at least top 15, if not 10. I'm in love with all the new snippets and look forward to the the new single but realize how important it is for BTIKM to make a decent showing. Whenever I get impatient, I remember the morning when I first heard BTIKM. I woke up hours before my alarm was to ring and checked twitter. BTIKM had leaked! I copied it to CD and listened to it on repeat on my way to work that cold, dark morning with tears streaming. It had been so long! |

I have the snippets and for now thats enough. It is because I cannot see BTIKM moving up that many positions with an spin increase of about 150 per week, and if he moves up than only with recurrents. And with that spin increase on HAC and without more CHR spins the AI will move up very slowly, too, and with it the sales. :-/ If they want to release a second single, then they should do it early april. Waiting many more weeks would take time from the second single to move up on CHR radio. But of course it would be nice, if HAC would still give BTIKM spins after the second single is released. ;D Another option of course would be not to release a second single and till album release BTIKM would reach about 2000 spins on HAC with constant spin increase. At the moment that would mean #14-16. :-/ |
