Adam Lambert’s sophomore album Trespassing is still a month or so away, but the Glam One is generously giving us a taste of what’s to come. While performing an acoustic set at the Bing lounge this week, Glambert performed a new track called “Never Close Our Eyes”, which was written by Bruno Mars. It’s a touching song about never wanting to sleep so you can spend all your time awake with your loved one. (In Adam’s case, that would be his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen.) Listen to Adam belt it out below, as well as a snippet of the LP’s title track. Adam Lambert – “Never Close Our Eyes” (Live) A snippet of the title track from Adam’s new album also hit the net recently — take a listen below: Adam Lambert – “Trespassing” (Snippet) We’re hearing a vibe of both Queen, Michael Jackson and — dare we say, Maroon 5? — in here. How about you? Maroon 5? LOL I feel like I'm at a wine tasting and the guy next to me is saying he detects a hit of chocolate and cinnamon.

Yes, I voted , -and then I was cooling down-, and again voted. Adam still slowly dropping. (I would have put in this point "push button" smiley, but I could not find it.) I'm in a cooling off period right now. Can't do anything for at least another two hours. Hope someone can replace me. I'm in a cooling period too (second time today). Not feeling like I'm helping when it keeps going down.

Is it possible that those polls are set up in a way that votes are displayed in an irregular way that makes it look as if someone is behind when they're really ahead? What I mean is, let's say Adam gets 2,000 votes and the other artist gets 1,500. Maybe only 1,000 of Adam's votes are reflected in the percentages for a period of time while all of the other artist's are. So it looks as if Adam is behind and all of his fans rush to the poll to vote for him (thus giving the site hits). After awhile, the remainder of Adam's votes are displayed and now he's ahead again, prompting the fans of the other person to vote more often. Most of the time, Adam seems to win in the end but it's always a back-and-forth battle.
I think it could be a way of setting up the contest to look more competitive and encourage more voting. I don't know, maybe I'm way off-base here but these polls bring out the conspiracy theorist in me.

LOL But, then again, even paranoids have enemies! 8-)
