Isn't this a new ring? adam-pictures.com/displayimage.php?album=683&pid=22789#top_display_mediaOh and does anyone, besides me, think that Adam just whacked off the entire trim on a jacket he already had to get this new jacket's look?! Wouldn't be the first time! Remember the long jacket he just did that too (the collar?) That one he wore on his recent EU promo? Oh lord, the first line of your paragraph above made me spit out a mouthful of wine. Maybe it's just the spacing on my screen but the entire line read: "oh, and does anyone, besides me, think that Adam just whacked off"? Lololololol. Clearly, I am 12. Back to drinking.

oh, oh, oh! I remembered what I wanted to say two posts ago! I wanted to remind everyone that the song "Trespassing" has been my favorite since I first heard the spliced-together version from somewhere (I can't remember where) because it's his anthem! If I WERE of sound mind, I would search for my post and re-post it. Crap, I'm gun-shy now about my grammar and punctuation. I think I might be good at it (grammar and punctuation) if I WERE sober, but hell's bells, I don't post when I'm sober. Anyhoo, (yes, damn it I know that's not a word) I wish I could remember what I said before because it summed up my feelings about the song. I honestly, genuinely, heartfeltedly (crap, squiggly lines under that last word but what the hey, it makes my point!) believe that this song will be his signature song. First on my bucket list now is to see him perform this song live, no matter how far I have to travel or how much I have to spend.

Wouldn't be the first time! Remember the long jacket he just did that too (the collar?) That one he wore on his recent EU promo? Glad you brought this up! I was looking at this ring last night and was fascinated by it. Click on the pic to make it larger. There are so many diamonds in each triangle, about 20 or so each. I can't remember if I have seen it before or not, but I'm sure gelly will know. She did mention the one on his other hand that is much larger. I like this one better. Someone found the jacket Adam wore at NNN at a website, but I don't remember the designer. It wasn't Gareth Pugh though. I meant to post when that was brought up that it sure made a difference who had the jacket on since the dude in the pic didn't look nearly as good as Adam did wearing it. I'm not going to go into the grammar lesson too much, but the one thing that really gets to me is when someone says *where is Adam AT?*. Or, any question that is ended in *AT*, as that was one of my moms pet peeves and I can still hear her correcting people on tv when they said it...lol!

"if it WERE" (past subjunctive) is grammatically correct. Or so I've been told. Crap, I started the second sentence with a preposition. I'm turning in my "good grammar" badge. :( I love you, burrito!! Damn it, your love is misplaced. Or is a conjunction, not a preposition. I'm really a stupid burrito and I already said I didn't want to go to school today. I'm skipping.

With the advent of everyone having a cell phone, I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone place a call and the first words out of *his/her* ;D mouth are "Where you at?" :

Wanna (how's that for grammar?) thank all who have made this a visually stunning day to go through the thread!!! Does this man EVER take a bad picture? (crap, this poor grammar was unintended--maybe I shouldn't have scrolled past all your lessons)
My ORIGINAL take on the Trespassing lyric was more about the fight for his place in the music industry:
don't need no GPS... (again, grammar!) = don't need anyone to tell him what to do to get where he wants to go (top of the charts) -turn to the North Pole = to make it to the top (success) -and show you what is cold = cold either means "hot" or "give it right back at ya"
BUT now that I see his sexual body language (and read urban dictionary) I wonder if this whole verse is a reference to being told how to live his life (ie don't be gay!): -where to go=where to find sexual pleasure -north pole =erection -show you what is cold= what is arousing and not
Maybe this is a good question to ask Adam.

In this case both are relative pronouns used to refer to things and animals, WHICH is considered to be a little more formal than THAT, but both are correct here. Use whichever you prefer:) Also, in your sentences they can be omitted, so... And I'm confused by the TOO at the end, shouldn't it be just TO? Yes, that should be "to" at the end. I was typing fast! I guess those aren't good examples of my question. I will try to think of others. I know that my editor is forever changing those for me and when I asked her to explain the difference she gave me such a confusing example it didn't stick in my head. My understanding of to and too is that too can be substituted for also. I went to the concert. I went to the concert too. Or, I love Adam too. LOL. My job dictates good grammar. I consult the dictionary often so as not to appear stoopid to the reader of my letters. Quotation marks are my downfall. I think the rule is that all punctuation goes within the quotation mark but sometimes that looks weird so I wing it sometimes to satisfy my own rebel.
