You may think it strange coming from me. But I really don't care to see Adam have a love interest in his music videos at this time. What's the point? Why create endless controversy? Besides, the work-around approach, as in the BTIKM vid, almost forces a much more creative approach to story telling.
However, what i would love to happen in the future is for Adam to play the male romantic lead opposite a female romantic lead in a big screen musical. For years, gay men have made love to women on the big screen. Of course, no one knew until years later (after they had died and couldn't sue) that the men might have other orientations. Maybe some day an "openly gay" male actor may be able to play straight and be accepted as the romantic lead.

I used to post what i felt were copyright infringements (loss of sales issues) with a heading ED PLEASE READ. The Ed would respond and say RCA would take care of it...But since there is no longer anyone (that we know of) on that board with the same connection to RCA. I'm not sure. I have passed it on the both Adam's management and RCA. I think AO.com post should do but I want to be sure. They are pushing this song out really fast on iTunes so I think it will be OK but I really am amazed at how fast these free download PIRATE links show up.

I need to add that Adam playing opposite a woman on the big screen would give him "permission" from the gay community that he might not have in a music video. In a video, he is seen as playing himself, and being with a female romantic interest could be seen as "misrepresenting" himself. However, in a movie, Adam would be playing a part, and you can't argue with the script. Frankly, based on the clips I've seen of him in WICKED, he could be very convincing in male-female love scenes. Much better than some closeted male stars who don't quite connect with their female partners on screen. No names.

OMFG Music ♫ @omfgmusic Reply Retweet Favorite · Open .@adamlambert debuts hot new single "Never Close Our Eyes": www.omfgmusic.net/2012/04/adam-lambert-debuts-new-song-never.htmlADAM LAMBERT DEBUTS NEW SONG "NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES" Hot, hot, hot! A glistening synth meets dubstep single produced by the master Doctor Luke finds Adam Lambert sounding better than ever. Even though his very impressive first single "Better Than I Know Myself" didn't catch on, Lambert's newest single "Never Close Our Eyes" sounds like a hit. Geez another site with free d/l.. sigh.. wish there was a way to force them to take it down. :-/ Does anyone know who polices that kind of thing for an artist? "They" seem to be quick about taking down youtubes of performances.. would think this kind of "stealing" would be high on their priority list too. >:(

Maybe some day an "openly gay" male actor may be able to play straight and be accepted as the romantic lead. Have you ever seen a show called How I Met Your Mother? It stars Neil Patrick Harris, a very openly gay man playing a straight guy who sleeps with women all the time. He's accepted in this role by everyone without a second thought to his orientation. I don't need or care about Adam playing a male lead opposite a female actress unless that's something Adam wishes to pursue. He played Fiyero in Wicked and was quite convincing when he planted that kiss on the lips of the green witch so I have no doubt he could "pull it off" As for the videos thing, I don't get the big deal. Most female pop artists don't have romantic leads in their videos so why is it necessary for Adam except insomuch as some people want him to make some public display of his sexuality to prove a point. As Adam already said, it's already difficult enough so why add more challenges to the deal.

I want to say that I love the full, fully-realized version of NCOE. Remember I'm the one who reported hearing the song played on Larry Flick's Morning Jolt show on Sirius. The version on the AdamOfficial sound cloud is different. Maybe Larry had an early version. I don't know. Maybe Larry was playing it to get RCA off the pot and to release a new single. Whatever. it worked. The new version lets Adam infuse Bruno melody with Adam edginess, and there's nothing better than pop rock fusion, unless its funkemopop. Something I did today was send a tweet to @brunomars thanking him for working with @adamlambert, and calling them a "Great Team!" It just seemed the right thing to do. Ahh, I thought about you today. I really think Flick played the Adam/Bruno weird mashup thingie. I just can't imagine a fan like you hearing this version and thinking it sounds just like Bruno. So glad you like it! heathcliff, your post the other day nearly pushed me over the edge. LOL. When I thought that "they" had autotuned all the personality out of Adam's voice I almost died. I was in despair this time last night. Now I feel dumb. The final song is actually quite good and I feel OK about it. It is no surprise to me that I care and care deeply about Adam's success, but the emotional impact sometimes really takes me by storm. Still recovering.

You know, the thing that he actually wants to be known for :-/ YMMV n' all.

You know, the thing that he actually wants to be known for :-/ YMMV n' all. I think we really are all in agreement here. When it comes right down to it, don't we all just want Adam to just do what HE wants to do and we will support him in his choices? I also think though, the Adam/Tommy interaction during Glam Nation was, in some respects, AL's way of making a point as much as it was fan service. But that was sooo last year (or rather, 2 years ago, yikes, where does the time go?). ;D And while I agree that female pop stars may not have "romantic" leads in their vids, they often have 1 or more hot, sexy boy toys (Rihanna comes to mind). As far as Adam acting as a romantic leading man in a flick, I'd be the first in line to see him on the big screen. But I do think he has said that he'd prefer to play an edgier, darker character role in a movie if the opportunity ever arose. (like Judas in JC Superstar) But it's all good as far as I'm concerned. I just want to see LOTS of Adam. ;D ;D ;D
