he's sooo cute there but the one I'm looking for he's a teenager...blonde hair and he's talking about how if he gets to be in theater or do theater for the rest of his life he'll be a happy happy man..... it's like a needle in a hackstack :( |

Here ya go before they take it down again!  I'm not really an emotional ballad type either, but I think this one is going to be massive and moving! Y'all know that is not Adam singing, right? Yep, but the guy does have a good voice, and he's attempting the little Adam inflections in his voice as he singing this. It sounds good just from this little clip, but can't wait to see how Adam would sound on this. It sounds so lush, and poignant just from these few short seconds of it. |

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words of encouragement today over the whole Queen debacle. I did not mean to bring the thread down, or come off being selfish or one sided for my needs, as I know there are many of us in the same boat. I am in a much better state of mind this evening, and will readdress it on Monday with a clear head. If anyone hears of any details on the Kiev show, I would be interested into looking into tickets for it, as that and Moscow would make attempting more changes worthwhile. Thanks Much! Hey, if you think you were on a rant, you haven't seem me on a cranky day!!! You have every right in the world to vent and now that you have that out of your system, why things may just work out somehow afterall!! I liked BTIKM. However, I think the studio mix missed by going to rock and too bombastic. The acoustic versions of the song were more touching and really brought home the lyrics. Adam has a powerful voice. Too much of that power can be overwhelming when it is broadcast across the radio and you are listening in your car. I think it's a question of balance. To each his own - my most favorite version of BTIKM is the Leno performance. Am listening to it at this moment. Lots of emotion through the whole song, including the high notes at the end. I wish that ending were on the cd. No YouTubes remain, but here is a download site if anyone wants to see/hear it. One other comment about that performance. I'm thinking that since they moved the Moscow date in order to accommodate the necessary changes caused by Sonisphere cancellation then maybe that rumor of them playing the close of the Euro 2012 Finals holds weight. The picture Gelly posted earlier just showed a listing for Elton in Kiev with only the month and year Jun 12 no day posted. Last day of the finals is July 1st. Maybe the Kiev concert is that weekend which would have made the Moscow date change necessary. It hasn't been announce yet though so it is all speculation at this point. |
