Bruno Mars has some really stupid songs out there and they get played. Bruno does not have the greatest voice or range. He came out the same time as Adam and he made it. If Adam wasn't gay and coming off idol, he would in my opinion be bigger than Bruno right now. Bruno established himself as a songwriter and collaborator first. He has ten songs that have been mega hits at a worldwide level. People respond to his music and his voice, including recognition from the Grammy committee. He has proven himself as a writer, singer and performer and has the respect of the music industry. Some may not care for Bruno, but there are obviously millions of people who do feel that he is very talented in many ways. I agree ,Bruno Mars has been working on stage since he's three years old and comes from a big musical family. I read his biography on line and he deserves his success. He's worked very hard for it and IMHO he's very talented.Not to say that Adam doesn't deserve success too,because to me he's totally great. I just think there is room for many talented folks and wish them all well. The music industry/radio is a tough as nails business and not for the weak,the shy or the feint of heart. |

and your avi...interesting. Im intrigued. Perhaps it reflects a mood youre in? It sort off reflects the mood I'm in but I just thought a dude twitching his nose like Samantha from Bewitched would make a nice avi. |

Just re: Bruno as a person i get a great vibe from Bruno and I was really pleased when Adam gave him props and said he had class. He made his mark as a songwriter before he became a star himself. No one can say he didn't pay his dues, just as they can't say that about Adam. I like his voice, his performances are energetic and hot, and I like his songs. I do not consider them stupid. |

Here is my purchasing plan for NCOE. I will buy the single on iTunes on 4/17, not the album. I already have preordered a physical cd from Amazon. When TRESPASSING cd is released on 5/15, I will buy the download version of the album on iTunes. I know that means that the previous iTunes purchase of NCOE will be subtracted from the sales count. To offset that, I will download the single from Amazon. That way, I am getting my purchase of the single to count in first week sales with no real reduction later. Does this make sense to anyone else? I'm a financial analyst in RL. and this is the best i can do.   |
