This version is different to the one that they played during the Glam Nation Tour, but is equally great! Check out Monte strumming his Martin and Adam showing off his vocals! Wal posted this late in yesterday's thread. It has audio clips. hooplamagnet Hoopla Magnet Hollywood Outbreak article and audio interview clips bit.ly/fSfvKJ1 minute ago ADAM LAMBERT SAYS NEW ALBUM IS LESS “CAMPY,” MORE “SERIOUS” Fresh off his acoustic performance of “Aftermath” on American Idol, Adam Lambert briefly talked about the follow up to his hit album For Your Entertainment. “The next album is in the works right now, I’ve been writing and recording and I think it will be out sometime in the fall,” said Lambert. “I’ve no idea what it’s going to sound like yet. I don’t think it’s going to be as campy as the last album. I think it’s going to have more of a serious note.” Link: www.hollywoodoutbreak.com/2011/03....y-more-serious/Read more: adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=daily&action=display&thread=82&page=86#ixzz1GIZaKG8c satisfied thanks for bringing up wal's post.. I forgot to listen to the audio and i liked what he said about how intimidated he was at first about being a role model and how he realized slowly and steadily that he can help people. Adam has grown through out his experiences these couple of years. And being the person he is, he took it all in and decided to do something about it , about helping people. I love him more and more every day....

I am glad to see Aloha is okay as well as others in the affected coasts.... I know the danger may not be over ... keep safe... and to all those in Japan ... I hope they are safe... I have friends and colleagues in Japan, and I have not heard from all of them. Remember the warm welcome Japan gave Adam on his first international trip ?... He was like Royalty to them... This is really sad. My tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Japanese people, as well as that of all humanity....
Somehow, following Adam's career has turned out to be much more than just enjoying the music... it is learning to be connected to people's humanity.....Street art by David Choe... written expression of sadness.. mine

Adam Lambert Returns To “American Idol”FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 2011 Quotes: And as for his take on Lady GaGa’s parting of ways with Target Stores over their LGBT policy, Adam commented, “I think the responsibility of today's pop stars is to liberate the masses. In that everyone can be whatever they wanna be. You can march to your own beat. It's so hard sometimes in our country because conformity is the way things are pushed. I'm anti-conformity, as you can tell. But Lady Gaga has been doing a great job. I think she’s f---ing fantastic. And it’s something beyond sexuality. She's got a lot of ideas and savvy.” Link: celebrity-gossip.net/adam-lambert/adam-lambert-returns-%E2%80%9Camerican-idol%E2%80%9D-485891

So glad to see all the positive press this performance has generated! Hopefully a lot of lost fans will come back on board. Yesterday I was on a field trip with my daughter's class and one of the moms was talking about Idol. So I told her to be sure to watch that night because Adam Lambert was going to be performing. She said "Oh, yeah, I forgot you loved Adam Lambert. I think he's a great singer, but he's just too freaky for me. But you like the freaky, don't you?" I said that I'd take him any way he wanted to be, but that he was going to sing an acoustic song and it would be beautiful. (and it was!) She said, "Oh, good, I'll be sure to watch, then." If I see her again today, I'll be sure to ask what she thought.

Just popping in before I (try to) sleep. I wanted to thank you all for your concern.
I haven't even watched Adam's performance on TV yet.. something to look forward to, I guess.
Right now, I'm just relieved and happy the tsunami is not expected to cause any damage. Fox "News" (how dare they call themselves that?) reported that the tsunami "slammed" into Hawaii. Hahaha. More like ~gently surged~ onto the shores.
My heart weeps for Japan.
Back to Adam tomorrow.
Mahalo for your kind thoughts.
