Again has anyone gotten such mileage out of a debut album. Unreal to see it charting again after what 16-17 months? We've gotten FYE, remixes, acoustic and GNT tour DVD. Anyone stanning him is forever spoiled in soooo many ways. His label's pretty damn lucky too.

I have Aftermath Acoustic and Aftermath Remix on repeat on my Itunes. The message comes across so clearly in both renditions. IMO, the two versions belong together. In my thinking, Aftermath acoustic is needed as you come to grips with the decisions around whatever you need to change. It is encouraging, uplifting, and inspirational. Aftermath Remix is the celebration. It's the song about how it feels to be on the other side of the Aftermath. It's the celebration of remembering all the angst about how things were going to go and now being on the other side you realize it's the best thing you could have done. Burden relieved, time to party, time for crying, time for continuing to look forward. I find that I can't post during Aftermath Remix. I just want to celebrate and dance. Perfect.

me three. Unless the whole performance was bad I don't think the minor "imperfections" even register with me. I must be a musical nitwit. I'm usually on sensory overload when I watch Adam perform :D Me 4 ? 8-)

I wasn't feeling well today and still couldn't help myself repeatedly dancing in joy for having come out on the other side this time around.

I don't think this from CBS news has been posted. American Idol: Adam Lambert triumphs, Ashthon Jones departs www.cbsnews.com/8301-31749_162-20042379-10391698.htmlI thought this line was funny. Looking strangely clean-shaven and spectacularly healthy, Lambert delivered an acoustic version of his "Aftermath". Is spectacularly healthy a new way to say HOT!

On the subject of chewing gum, it has been clinically demonstrated that chewing sugarless gum most especially gum with xylitol reduces cavities in children and adults. My dentist suggested that if I could not brush after I eat, chewing gum was a good second. Here is a study from the National Institutes of Health just so you know I am not making this up. www.lib.umich.edu/taubman-health-sciences-library/nih-caries-cdc-abstracts-hayesSo, chewing gum (and I assume it is sugarless with xylitol) is one of the ways that Adam keeps those pearly whites so lickable. I doubt Adam uses it for this reason, but chewing gum also stimulates thinking/helps concentration for many people. Some ACT/SAT prep books include it in their checklist of things to take on test day. I used to take some with me when administering the tests for students who wanted it. Just no popping allowed. And there are studies on this, too, but I'm way too tired to look them up! Many WONDERFUL words of praise/reviews for Adam's performance last night--so much fun to read them! (Chunky, I loved your recap--and TY so very much for those most inspiring apple pie gifs!) Agree with them all--he was awesome in every way! Loved the EW interview to pieces, gum and all. And still loving the AM remix. Do hope some reason arises for an interview again soon. I'm going to try to catch his attention next time he tweets to ask him to consider adding a weekly bubble tweet to his twota. Just any little tidbit to tide us over. Want him to focus on #2 and a fun (and private) personal life, but man I'm gonna miss him. I know he may not have a particular promotional reason to be a guest on any TV shows, but don't they ever have any singing guests on those dance shows on TV? I know they do on DWTS...not sure about SYTYCD. (I mean someone singing while peeps dance along.) But my fantasy is to hear him sing Broken Open or CLYG with beautiful, erotic, talented dancers in front of him. Well, at least there are certain to be photo shoots--and who knows what other surprises he might dream up for us between now and the release of his first single...can't wait! ;D Oh, yeah, speaking of appearing on dance shows, here's his SYTYCD special-accoutrement (shriveled-balls-of-studio-execs, is that close?) performance. As much as I loved last night's clean look, this look just blew my socks off. My, but he looks good in pants. Any pants! (And I laughed so fuckin hard when I first saw that black thing on his shoulder! You go, Adam! Always the delightful surprise!)
