I thought you guys were exaggerating how bad the group Queen number was---NOPE! Forget comparing it to the EMAs--even comparing it to Kris it was awful!! What was Idol thinking, allowing them to do THAT song.???? Surely it would be compared to season 8s finale--a finale that they have never come close to replicating the power of since. A season that has been labeled as last great season. The climatic song that was sung by the contestant that is accused of ruining Idol for so many people. And sung so well that the iconic band has asked him to reprise the role in stadiums across the world. They have not only highlighted how much better Adam was, but also how much better they were. Major strategic failure by Idol! It is amazing how stupid these high priced executives can be. One of the contestants also sang The SHow Must Go On. Prior contestants also sang that exact song.. much better. |

Sorry to interrupt the flow of the thread, but I'm still berting my head off over the album snippets. My love for Shady cannot be quantified!!!! I can't get kicking in out of my head!!! I'm bopping around my house singing Tresspassing!!! I've even fallen in love with NCOE!!! I'm so happy that I love these songs so much :D Life is good. Cuz I'm feelin' so shaaay-day, late-lay! --I love your occasional snippety snappety happity hoo interruptions! Bert away, please. And I couldn't agree more!!  :D Awww. You're sweet. Ever since BTIKM came out I've had this lingering fear that maybe *I* wouldn't like the rest of the album, even if fans and critics did. I'm not into ponderous ballads. But I freaking love (most) of what we've heard so far. Now imagining what the next tour will be like...fun thoughts. |

I think it is pretty widely believed, by all Idol watchers, that you don't mess with an Adam song. There are a few songs across all the seasons that everyone agrees should be retired, including all of Adam's. Only those who are too stupid to do their homework make this mistake. |
