Good morning everyone! Nice find - new old pictures! Thanks for posting them, Gelly. The woman on the left side in the first pic, is that Cindy Lauper? The whole AI appearance was a huge win for Adam. Many non-fans on Twitter were impressed with his voice and gushing how sexy he looked. I am less impressed with people who were "This is the Adam we loved on Idol two years ago, not the glitter and glam person, now we are fans again". What if he decides to perform in drag next time? Is he then "Persona Non Grata" again?
But all in all for me an interesting experience because I was never part of the Idol Bubble, only watched Adams videos, but now I have got a good impression of the whole "madness" surrounding that show. Bolded part: So true. I have read a few comments since Thurs. about how great it was that Adam has returned to the person he REALLY is. What? I think they must mean who they want him to really be. I guess they are not aware that Adam dressed up and wore makeup as a kid. Maybe he'll reel them in little by little and they'll get used to the idea that he WILL dress up, wear makeup and be a bit wild. But he is still the same singer through all of it.

holst pleeease not a bit wild. CRAZY WILD!! And i bet he will be crazy wild again. He proved it at the Mardi Gras in Australia. I could never ever believed that after all that happened at the time he had the balls to appear like he did. He's fierless and he's not changing it for anyone. He said so. He wants to be a huge star but not compromise. What we see now is just a period in his life that he wants to look like he does. I believe this strongly.

While many gay themes exist in film and literature, sadly, this is not the case in popular music. Even artists like superstar Elton John, along with Adam Lambert, Ricky Martin, Clay Aiken and others, remain in the closet as far as recording same-gender loving music. It is one of those unwritten taboos of the music industry. .... Link: tunes.broadwayworld.com/article/Nhojj_breaks_music_industry_barriers_with_He_Him_20010101

The BEPs are on Idol next week? It'll be interesting to see what happens, but I think the ratings will go up!! I really don't think BEP will affect ratings. My teenage daughter never cares about someone who she's a fan of being on TV. She says she is a fan of the music not the people. The recorded music sounds better than the live so why would she want to go out of her way to watch. I think a lot of people are that way with songs that are popular. I think that is where we are different with Adam. We are as enamored with him as a person as we are with his music. And we know he will sound great live!

Gelly...I agree. I'm certain we'll see CRAZY WILD Adam in the future and I can't wait ! Just like on Idol, I feel he'll continue to zig zag in his presentation...keeping people guessing and the songs and performances new and fresh. I've been trying to imagine how this this new album is going to sound and feel and what kind of tour we might have next time around. Knowing his fans, let's hope we get at least a little CRAZY WILD/ SEXY WILD Adam on tour #2. Somehow, I just can't picture "Adam Lambert's Organic/Honest/Real Nation Tour. Maybe instead of glitter and rhinestones, we'll get a new kind of "glam" - something we never knew we wanted.
