Gelly...I agree. I'm certain we'll see CRAZY WILD Adam in the future and I can't wait ! Just like on Idol, I feel he'll continue to zig zag in his presentation...keeping people guessing and the songs and performances new and fresh. I've been trying to imagine how this this new album is going to sound and feel and what kind of tour we might have next time around. Knowing his fans, let's hope we get at least a little CRAZY WILD/ SEXY WILD Adam on tour #2. Somehow, I just can't picture "Adam Lambert's Organic/Honest/Real Nation Tour. Maybe instead of glitter and rhinestones, we'll get a new kind of "glam" - something we never knew we wanted. Don't forget he promised more leather! 8-) |

Funny that when I introduced myself to Adam I only knew him being crazy and sexy and glammed up at the AMAs and in Cologne.
I was so surprised when people were whining after Amsterdam "This is not the "real" Adam".....until I watched his AI appearances....where he really toned it down. But those people probably never tried to look outside the Bubble.
He himself said "less glitter more leather" and IMO we will get this also on his next tour but he will always be wild and sexy!

And lace, lace damn it, I still have not seen enough lace! >:( ;D ;D ;D hmmmm..... Thinking that over, I realize that I have seen plenty of "LACE-S". Couldn't take my eyes away all summer. 8-) So I guess I will give up on Edwardian Adam. Leather sounds good. :D |

Good Sunday Morning !!! Looks like very few of us have "sprung forward". NoAngel....Where are u? I miss you. She's having a fun visit with her sister on the central CA coast! Wine tasting and such! Carla, I so agree! I've had 2 friends, who know I am "Adam crazy" comment on how wonderful he looked and how beautiful he is and how much they liked that song and they had never heard it before, blah, blah, blah! I'm sure they were surprised at my reaction because instead of getting all excited that they had suddenly "discovered" him, I said, "Ya, that's just one of the sides of Adam. You'd probably like his Acoustic Live album. It's on i-Tunes." As someone, upthread said, hopefully these people will get reeled in and stay. Although, IMO, the WWFM performance was wonderful, last year. Why didn't that reel them in? I just don't want Adam to feel he has to do this to get more fans. I am 99% sure that is not the case. I think he is just going through a phase where he wants to change it up a bit. And we all know how much he likes to change it up. Like he said to Perez, "Watch, I'll probably end up wearing feathers on my next cover!" OK, off to Disneyland for the day! Have fun everyone!  ETA: Lee is supposed to be on Idol March 31st, not this week. I don't think he or the BEP will do anything major to the ratings. The downslide in ratings, from the previous week, was not surprising to me. The show where they go to the top 12 is very suspenseful and usually garners bigger ratings. The increase of 6%, from last year, IMO, is more important. Many people left the show last year and it was not considered a good season. So if these kids are bringing people back, that's a good thig. Not one single show has come close to Idol this season. Even Survivor. Yes, I am an Idol Loon!  |

I love leather !!! I really liked that silver leather jacket he had on during the Grammy Summit with the blingy studs. I'm willing to forgo the glitter and rhinestones for a leather with studs look on our "studly" AFL. (At the after Christmas sales, I got a pair of silver rocker boots with chains and I would love to have a jacket like his silver one to wear to Tour # 2 next fall/winter....it's all about the fashion LOL)

and to add to the discussion. I don't think Adam came as "boy next door" Adam to win over new fans. It was because he wanted the focus to be on the lyrics and message of the song and nothing else. He can't help it if he is so beautiful that we can't help but be mesmerized by the way he looks |
