OT, so feel free to scroll, but it a slow night.
I was watching My Fair Lady this afternoon. I have never thought very much about the relationship of Colonel Pickering and Henry Higgins, but today these "confirmed bachelors" made me think of all the code words that have been used through the years to camouflage "gay".
At any rate, as Higgins sings/talks "Why can't a woman be more like a man", the lyrics were hilarious to me if I imagined that the characters were actually gay.

Exactly, plus how he was wearing his hair Additionally, the exact kind of jewelry he was looking at. LOL And a detailed description of the girl so we could instantly identify her!!!! I'll bet it was Danielle. Going to a swap meet together seems like something these long-time friends would do.

OMG... such a quiet little thread today!! But I see we have two newbies checking in!!! A BIG WELCOME to southpaw and tuscany!!! Southpaw... your name sounds familiar! Did you used to post on PF? And tuscany... are you actually in Tuscany?? Thank you. I'm nervous about coming out of hiding. It's a little like starting at a new school when you're a junior. I've been around a lot since PF but lurk around the corner or behind the bleachers. I really love Adam though in an acceptable way. I would never risk being the one he shakes his finger at and tells to behave. Welcome! Glad we are getting a chance to know you!

@jdurbinai10 Waiting on the WORLD to change! "When the power of live overcomes the love of power the world will be at peace"- Hendrix twitpic.com/49998n Didn't Adam quote this a long time ago? Otherwis I probably wouldn't have heard it. I'm very one dimensional @canadian_Paula @jdurbinai10 Hey, @adamlambert put that as his fave quote on his @americanidol contestants page!
@jdurbinai10 @canadian_Paula I was not aware of that. That's funny! I've had this sweet Hendrix button with that quote on it on my leather jacket.I follow Canadian_Paula on twitter so I saw this on my twitter feed. This was His response to Her mention that it was once quoted by Adam also.
