since there is NOTHING going on today with GNAL I decided to do a google search for Adam Lambert, one year ago today. This was the first listing Yes! Actually, someone tweeted he was in Japan exactly one year ago from day of the earthquake. SUCH a scary prospect if he was there this year. :-/ :-/ And yes, the volcano is frightening too, but may be interrelated. Earthquakes are often a precursor to volcanic eruptions; or one can trigger the other. (My goal for this week: Get an updated earthquake kit in my car!!!) Now a volcanic eruption????? I have a son in LA, I know he doesn't have an earthquake kit, I better google what he needs and start one for him. He lived in the desert all his life, all he knows is to have water with him at all times. :-/ |

Never know when you'll go off the road, or get stuck in a blizzard. :( |

OT, so feel free to scroll, but it a slow night. I was watching My Fair Lady this afternoon. I have never thought very much about the relationship of Colonel Pickering and Henry Higgins, but today these "confirmed bachelors" made me think of all the code words that have been used through the years to camouflage "gay". At any rate, as Higgins sings/talks "Why can't a woman be more like a man", the lyrics were hilarious to me if I imagined that the characters were actually gay. Soooo true!! And dang! That's an episode of "Will & Grace"! I tried to find it on YouTube, but couldn't. It's part of a four-part series with Dan Futterman as Karen's cousin Barry who's just coming out in his mid-30s and Will and Jack have to "train" him to be gay. In this episode, they've succeeded in making him HOT and they all attend the Human Rights Coalition banquet. Will goes into a diatribe about how Col. Pickering and Prof. Higgins were most definitely gay. It's very funny. |

For anyone interested in twitter numbers, Adam has gained 1637 new followers in the past 12 hrs. When album #2 comes out I am crossing my fingers that at LEAST half his followers buy the album the first day of release.
