I'm not sure how much of this has to do with Adam and his connections or his direction. Neil suggested these two ladies. They are Jill Scott's back-up singers. It's not like they haven't been involved in a professional setting before. Plus, Adam has a musical director who has worked with the BIG names in the business. He knows what he is doing.
Adam has "people" that do things like musical arrangements, choreography, costuming, etc. I'm sure some of these aspects he has input, but most of the musical arrangements are left to those who are playing the instruments or the musical director. The musical director, band and background singers worked on music for several days without Adam.
IA that Brian London, Octavia and Keisha, and the rest of the band are all very talented and don't need Adam's input to be great but I think Cassie still has a point that Adam's connections were a valuable part of getting these talented people on his team. Adam and Brian know each other from the Zodiac show and it was Brian (not Neil) who brought in Octavia and Keisha.

I just got a chance to visit Atop today. I just want to say that I have to disagree with the bold statement above. I don't care how professional musician they're they still need Adam inputs. If this is an orchestra, Adam is the conductor. He leads the performances. Because Adam knows what kind of sounds he needs and wants to do for his performances and he needs his backup band and singers to work based on what he wants so he can deliver a great performance.
ETA:.. HEEE.. i just saw hoppers comment on the next page. We basically said the same thing... LOL. Adam is the leader.. they must follow their leader.
