I wonder if this is also video shoot related. Carmit Bachar @iamcarmit (1 hour ago) It's straight Armageddon out here downtown! pic.twitter.com/FSolicq3 Nope - May Day marches - Immigration rights, labor unions and Occupy - messed up downtown all day. Awwww i was really hoping we'd have some helicopters *sulks*

I missed the helicopters in the Armaggedon pic she tweeted; now I see what she means. But anyway, we have a hint. The vid is being shot in the city, so it's an industrial setting. I had been thinking of a desert scene, but I prefer a gritty cityscape. Me too! dystopic. "slightly grungy". Avenging angels. ETA: tongues

OMG, I love you funny people. There is nothing like hysterical laughter to get your brain cells moving.
Dorky Adam and his tongue makes me laugh and go awwwww. He reminds me of one of those dogs that rush at you when you walk in the door and starts licking your face. That is all I can think of when he starts with that tongue. Who else does that?

Most of the time I am sleeping when the discussions go on here and often I catch up so late that it seems pointless to say anything. Sometimes I saw new post "in real time" and wanted to express another view to the topic. I tried to keep my post short in order to not get into vocabulary/phrase structures that might be misinterpreted. That was not a good thing because my post probably seemed blunt and maybe I just chose a wrong word to use which lead to angry responses. We have difficulties in choosing our words and phrases, and also we might not have all the years in fandom that most of the people here have. My conclusion is that I have a lot to learn how to express myself, both in a foreign language and in accordance to the board rules and conventions. It is a process. And I still don't quite grasp the idea how to formulate a post without mentioning the earlier posters or any names besides Adam, and explaining the background and being short at the same time. And that is not a language thing, only. On the other hand, I find some posts odd but they are far and between. So it seems that we all deal with these problems. Mostly posters are very friendly and understanding which is rare in the web. Above all difficulties, I think that a board like this is a very good thing and my first reaction is not to part with it but learn and grow. Thank you who strive in keeping it a good place to be. I'll get info, pictures, questions, a lot of joy, rants and even disagreements to be part of - and I am sure that nothing said has a malicious intent, only some 'communication disarray' occurring, unfortunately often out of the blue. Precisely my situation and thank you belle for saying it on my behalf.

I definitely see the dog totem in our boy. Is he "Year of the Dog"? Also wolf, was thinking about that in the shower this morning. Wolfy - he really supports his "clan" and I love how he collaborates with them as he gains a platform - from Neil to Mom to friends like Terrence, Alisan and Carmit and Lee Cherry. Just love that! And I really liked how he pointed to his rellies at one Q&A and said "Mah Blood". So wolfy.

---------------------------- Re Adam, the band, and such: I just have to add that all comments were music related, which is great, but also I think that Adam's role is the one that I wouldn't like to see underestimated ( not that anyone has done that, god forbid): his choices, his personality, his mojo that brings and keeps it all together and functioning great. If anyone here underestimated the roles of the back up singers, so what? I don't care. The band is replacable, it would be great if it was permanent, for numerous reasons, but if not... hasta la vista!!!Or the movies correlation: the great director makes a great film and makes it possible for actors to create great roles. It doesn't work vice versa: great roles do not make a great film. Wish I've got the gut to say so!

Yes, he is year of the (water) dog (starts Jan. 25, 1982) (just read the Aquarius/of combined horoscope - most of it sounds like Adam, except for the part about not liking to be showy ;D)
