If I remember correctly, I believe that SNL was offered to Adam at one point however they wanted to focus on gay jokes which he did not want to do. I have no sources, but I think I remember him saying something to that effect.

I have no sources, but I think I remember him saying something to that effect. probably remembers the exact one, but I believe he talked about it on one of the very long radio interviews with a gay station in the UK that was done in spring 2010. Nica, Coldplay did two songs last Thursday (that's only results show I've watched this year). Word is Coldplay was taped. Carrie was live. Thanks, Adamme (Oops, I mean 4Ms!! Sorry, was going by memory of your Light!Adam avi) for pointing the editing function out. They use all these icons and I couldn't figure what they meant. I tried the resizing and must not have gone far enough because it was still very large after editing. |

Sadly, there's nothing to do but wait a bit longer. Since we have hints that CDs have shipped to Asia, I'm guessing someone will upload the songs sometime in the next 12 hours. |

All those acts you namechecked may not be big, but they have been indie and critical darlings. There's a certain cachet to their bookings that as much as I adore Adam, he just doesn't have right now. This, Lana Del Rey was getting huge print coverage and buzz before her show, the others are really well known and respected in the indy world and music industry (not as sure about Karmin, but their single is out there). |

Do they have extra large audience numbers? I mean the show is nowhere close to the level of excellence that they've had "back in the golden days" of Belushi/Radner/co Tried to watch it twice in the past year (cause its been mentioned here to death) and could not believe my own eyes...kinda sad... I am not surprised if they did want to do cheap gay jokes ... they seriously need new writers or new producers or whomever decides on the content... I WANT COLBERT! if we want the "cool college" crowd to pay attention (at least the NE college crowd) - then Colbert is the way to go. They eat up every word the man utters... the Colbert Nation is HUGE! Why is it impossible? He has musical guests from time to time... He even sings with them ;D... |
