you probably should have gotten one of the cannucks to order it, they got theirs first! If we'd known we could have had every order sent to Happy's house  Ha Ha!! I can imagine my husband's face if that had happened!!!! I have to keep my standom under the radar here, but even he thinks it is kind of funny that I had my 15 minutes of fame! |

In an election year, no less! Adam isn't the only one with balls of steel!!!!!!!!  ITA! The respect that I already had for President Obama was just elevated to a whole new level. Obama is my "Adam" in the political world!   great news,really! |

President Obama affirms his personal belief that same sex couples should be able to marry. I love President Obama in much the same way that I love Adam. With my whole heart and soul. I feel the same way. I stanned Obama daily during the 2008 election, had a party on inauguration day, and then shortly after that, got floored by Adam Lambert when he performed Ring of Fire. My feelings about both are very similar--both have so much courage and have suffered so much hate online and they just keep moving forward with optimism and love. I am so happy Obama has done this--I knew he would do the right thing! |

No, because it says "certified." You don't get certified worldwide. If it had just said, over 1 million in sales, then fine. But it specifically says "certified." What I meant was that according to RIAA website, it is not certified Platinum. |

My friend RadarEcho is supporting Youth Texas First and they had the wonderful idea of the amazon wish list. (yay for great ideas) RadarEcho came to the Phoenix one n ten Brunch this year (used to be spelled 1n10). So many wonderful Adam fans have contributed to the now famous Adam Fan basket (including some from Adamtopia) for the silent auction that occurs at the yearly Brunch. I estimate that Adam Fans have contributed well over $10K to 1n10 through participation in the Brunch, gifting CDs, silent auction donations, donations to the Adam Fan Basket, donations to Outdoors! Camp, and regular $$ donations. As a result of 1n10's increasing visibility (recently 1n10 was featured on CNN) the youth now have a 2600+ sq ft drop in center (just moved from a 900 sq ft old home with barely any air conditioning in over 100 degree heat.) Many of the youth are homeless - they ride the light rail or bus at night until service stops, so the center is a place for a meal and now a shower during the day. I repeat some of this since we have so many new members at Adamtopia. All I can say - "all things Adam" are woven through so much of the spirit of what we (volunteers) are doing to support the one n ten LGBTQ youth for over three years now. Here is a way of introducing Adam's community to Adam. :-) We used the FYE CDs on the tables at the 2011 Brunch. There were tons of people from the Gay community at the brunch who know (or knew) nothing about Adam. So, little by little, wonderful things are happening for the youth and many many seeds are being planted for Adam. I have received Madonna CDS from my friends/colleagues at 1n10 in exchange for the Adam CDs I give to them :-) We are making this fun! (of course, there are serious discussions too) My love and devotion to Adam has been multiplied many many times over by my devotion to the youth. All is connected. RadarEcho said 1n10 better use the Amazon wish list if we want to get any Trespassing CDs for the 1n10 kids and I agree with her (smile). That's really fantastic and interesting to hear the inception of gifting the CDs.. so the CDs don't go to the kids directly, but are used for fundraising purposes? It just occurred to me that if you give them to the kids, how would they listen to a CD without something to play it in? :-/ |
