Adam Lambert @adamlambert @sam_sparro Return to Paradise is EVERYTHING!!!! Just held me in the groove during my whole flight. So so great! I really enjoyed the new songs live (just wish Sam was as picky about the sound in a venue as Adam is!), and I'm looking forward to getting the CD (if I can ever figure out when it's actually being released here in the States). Yesterday Sam tweeted this link to a stream of Return to Paradise, if anyone wants to hear what Adam's listening to: ind-k.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/new-sam-sparro-return-to-paradise-album.htmlI heard it was being released in June by Virgin records.

Thanks for sharing. Sounds legit to me. Well, it does make sense that Adam would have his own sound guy for a series of concerts like he just did. And since that was the last show, and he's had issues before last night, a perfect time to can his ass. For someone like Adam who is such a perfectionist, it must be maddening to know that his audience isn't hearing the best from him. It's one thing to fuck up a bit here and there-- mistakes happen. But to make it so that Adam completely messes up an entire song-- unforgivable. I'm only up to page 14 this morning so i dont know how this discussion has evolved overnight but I cant resist commenting! Adam is a perfectionist by his own admission but even if he were not, the sound problems he's been having are really frustrating - I would have fired the sound guy earlier. The sound guy is so crucial to his ability to reach his audience and he just has to get it right otherwise its missed opportunity after missed opportunity. I also think it throws him of his "flow ability" because he starts having to keep an eye on the sound instead of channelling and surrendering to his singing. So i am so glad he fired the sound guy. He needs someone really good.

I think that was what i was saying too. He didn't let it show if he was mad, but I am sure he was very frustrated. But not a big deal to the fandom in the big scheme of things. Oh. I see. Never mind. We each have our sensitive topics and areas about Adam. I can let lots of things roll off my back without so much as a blink. But, when it comes to his voice, his musicality? Not so much. If someone or something messes him up so that he cannot sing at the level he is capable and he demands of himself, I get all kinds of crazy protective and concerned for him. I'm with you on this Cassie. Its like someone muzzling him. And while it might not matter to the fanbase, there are people hearing him for the first time, and they are more elastic in their response to things like this.

At airports and the like,I love how humble Adam is ,he carries his own luggage, doesn't have a retinue with him.. Just his backpack, etc.Peace sign to fans and off he goes. So down to earth . What she said.

Glitter is out. He said in the Canadian interview that the yellow and black is cool! Your stuff sounds perfect!

On the subject of tours, Kelly did a theater tour (including the 5,000 seat FOX here in St. Louis) this past winter, and will be doing larger venues this summer. It is possible to "grow your tour" as you go along.
Touring helps to build audiences, as does radio play and TV appearances. Touring helps with radio play as the radio stations love to give out "free tickets" to concerts. TV news will often cover concert appearances when a star gives TV station an interview. To me, it all works together to build an audience.

Here is my opinion on the tour and then I am going to bed so that I can wake up early and watch and enjoy the NCOE vid before work: Adam is being purposely vague because he knows how we hang on every word and also his random thoughts (once it's out your mouth can't take it back) often get picked up in the blogs. He doesn't want to disappoint and they are really not sure what size venue yet BUT ... it IS in the works. Concepts are in the works, venues are being contacted, scale up plans are being made. They are just not telling us.
