Well I see WAEB (Allentown) passed again. Sigh - 3 auto-adds for them.
But Yay nevertheless for 3 adds for NCOE!

Well, I see FIVE adds - and it is a good thing!!! Five adds between hac and chr isn't great, especially since early adders are decreasing their spins. Sigh...I didn't expect Adam to race up the charts this era, but I didn't expect him to struggle this much with radio this time either. I'm wondering of BTIKM's lack of success is affecting NCOE because NCOE fits perfectly on chr. PD's may be reluctant to play it or add it since the lead single didn't do well. I don't know...just really confused as to why this song written by Bruno Mars and produced by Dr. Luke is struggling. |

Hey guys - back from a graduation ceremony ('Tis that time of year! :D )
[grins] May have beeb five adds, but those adds were pretty darn good. Sirius, Toronto, and Boston is top notch, and all but one I think will go on the Top50 markets list.
Got to get the kid ready for bed, but will post the formatted stats later

I can't help it, Trespassing's slide down the chart is painful to see :( It hurts me too because it is such a f*ckin amazing Pop album!! It deserves to be heard and bought! |

That said -- NCOE picked up a really important add this week -- Sirus XM -- they are worth 65 spins on Top 40 this week and will him push the song up the chart. ETA: Excluding Adele albums rarely defy gravity. I have faith in both the long-term prospects of Trespassing album sales and in NCOE -- even on US Radio.  And I am realistic, not usually known as a pollyanna, puppies & rainbows fan. |

He's double his spins in the last month. He's at approximately the same position Haley and Kris were at at that time. They've moved up, he's moved up.
In addition to those two Idols he's got Daughtry, Carrie, and 2 Clarkson songs on the charts ahead of him. I think PDs hate being accused of playing all Idols so they try to string them out a bit in their playlists. For PDs, yes, he is still in the Idol bubble and every one of them has great songs.
It's a slow moving chart. He's not a superstar when it comes to radio yet, he has to wait in line just like everyone else who's name isn't Katy Perry.
