So Phillip Phillips' Home has 4 CHR adds today, not even counting the HAC adds he's gotten this week. Home is about as un-CHR as it gets. But a dance song like NCOE so far has none this week? I think the question is, what is Interscope doing as opposed to RCA? Phillip hasn't exactly been doing promo seeing as he just got out of the hospital. I also don't understand where the IHeartRadio performance that Adam did is. It had been reported, in the Billboard article I think, that he was taping the IHeartRadio thing to be available on 100+ station websites. I haven't seen it on one yet, a month later. The only place I've been able to find it is on You Tube and those were fan vids. Home has sold over 250K in the last 2-3 weeks and the single is still sitting in the top 100 on itunes. It is the coronation song and it is actually somewhat decent for once. PP is the current, recent Idol winner and he is a young WGWG. PP has Jimmy Iovine behind him pushing this single. Today is its impact date. What does this hick in plaid have to do with Adam anyways? Let's see how this kid, who has trouble with the most basic vocal skills, is doing three years from now. My guess is he will be following all the WGWGs in the tradition of getting dropped from his record label. We have much bigger things to worry about than this year's WGWG! HSM: Thanks!  |

Of the stations on Adam's "starters" list, only one has reported so far, WKZL, Greensboro. They only added PP's Home : The other of the 7 starters have not reported yet. However, they have just begun spinning, so next week might be when they add. |
