How is NCOE doing in New Zealand? They were such huge supporters last era with so many singles. I am super excited about what Adam has going on with Queen, but a little part of me wishes the timing was a bit better... I think they planned the release so that they would have the Queen buzz in the UK to drive sales and interest. If there is one market in the world that they have focused on this era, it is the UK. Setting that aside, I have been looking at markets and Adam's presence on the radio and he has high penetration in Montreal/Quebec. I need to pull the provincial sales numbers to see if it is translating into sales.

I actually think HAC is just fine. NCOE is perfectly suited to HAC's 25-49 year old target audience and HAC listeners purchase music. Just observing that the US promo strategy is clearly focused on Pop, not as much on HAC. I don't know about other areas, but the HAC station in Dallas seems to be aiming younger and younger. For the past two weeks, they've tweeted about no one except One Direction and The Wanted. Their playlist seems to be skewing younger and younger. They certainly don't seem to be focusing too much on 25-49 demographic. This is from 102.9 NOW's Website -- "KDMX – 102.9 NOW is Dallas / Fort Worth's premier HOT Adult Contemporary Station targeting primarily women 25-54 and reaching 1.3 MILLION+ listeners each WEEK! Imagine getting your product in their hands or getting them to walk through your place of business! Read more: www.1029now.com/cc-common/YourAdHere/#ixzz1yGpHACo5I just saw some callout research results on Women 18-49 --- and Bieber, OD and The Wanted all did really well -- to all age groups. So did Usher. Adam was not in this study. It is not that the stations have changed their target -- it is that tastes are shifting.

I wonder why the shift to younger artists all of a sudden? Justin Bieber's Believe is now #1 on iTunes in 33 countries so far!

HDD final report is in - Adam is not on the list. #50 was Regina Spektor with 9002 units. Trespassing did 8K last week, so the HDD report doesn't really tell us much.

Comparing Top 40 adds (U.S. monitored stations only) for BTIKM and NCOE:
BTIKM: Pre-impact date: 4 Impact date: 7 Post-impact 1st week: 6 Post-impact 2nd week: 2 Post-impact 3rd week: 0 Total adds through 3 weeks after impact date: 19
NCOE: Pre-impact date: 3 Impact date: 7 Post-impact 1st week: 5 Post-impact 2nd week: 3 Post-impact 3rd week: 0 Total adds through 3 weeks after impact date: 18
WSKS Utica-Rome is not a monitored station, which is why I'm showing zero adds this week. I should go back at some point and recalculate all the add statistics using Combined Reporters, but I'm not sure if it would make a great deal of difference.
