I could plead dehydration and jet lag. I think Jon Stewart jokingly credited dehydration when he went off on Tucker Carlson's show all those years ago. I know people mean well but a grudging 'he was good' (and this is Adam so, yeah, he was ~good) isn't enough to off-set that. I mean it IS possible to tease gently Adam's style or sometimes campy take without a nasty twist (kind of like the Rolling Stone 'Zeus in a thong' thing).
Basta - moving on...

Theosgma I also understood what you meant. In fact, I took a similar shellacking for saying almost the same thing after a GNT show - I noted that the performance was top notch as always but that, in terms of energy, Adam seemed to be reaching into his own reserves to create the wave instead of just riding it.

I'm glad to be back here under our cool leaves and the shining moon. Maybe we should go skinny dipping? No one knows you're naked swimming on the internet . The koi might nibble though.
