I am so looking forward to the Leather and Lust Tour! I think it was Isaac who said that Adam wouldn't sing a song unless he could connect to it in some way. Just think how awesome it will be when he can really connect to EVERY song because he wrote it? No matter how he presents them, I think the next tour is going to be FABULOUS! I hope you all have started that tour savings account.

Are you all getting e-mails every day with the link to The Aftermath remix on You Tube? I've been getting one from AO and MySpace every day for the past several days! I noticed the views are only 8,000 (seems strange, huh?) Do you think they want to get these views up. I mean it's not a music video, just the song, and we all have that already? www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQ7Q_AMimKMsame here. Every day.And i open it every day cause i think there's something new.

SusieFierceUnfortunately, it is Top 40 radio who says what's current and what's not. Yes, current is a buzzword, hard to define and is ever changing but at the most basic it is something that gets airplay on the radio. As for Glee, they sing a lot of current hits. So there's that juxtaposition of style and content. It is not straight up musical theater which is - in a teenager's mind - 'old people's music'. Sorry to be so harsh and un-PC but that's how I see it. I agree that Glee does take a lot from current pop hits, but I take issue with Top 40 dictating to us about what is current, because I do not agree (I've been railing on this forever). Though they still wield considerable influence, that is decreasing rapidly in the grand scheme of things. Adele and SuBo happened with almost no radio support. (That doesn't mean that I don't hope Adam has several radio smashes, I do, but I'm just glad we live in a time where we can have many other options for sharing and discovering music.) I've always thought chasing a highly capricious and arbitrary market is extremely difficult to do with any authenticity and is often the kiss of death. Of course, you can get the top hit makers on your side, etc., but the bottom line, is you have to do what you do. The film industry constantly tries to play it safe by duplicating prior successes, and the results are often a trainwreck. Someone who chases the market is rarely groundbreaking. You might be a momentary sensation, but like we've used the analogy of a skyrocket in the past – you take off and soar white hot, but you die out just as quickly. (God knows Rebecca Black has been trending for a week solid ...) An artist can be market savvy without being a slave to the market, I think. Of course, if we were having the discussion about "Soaked," as a potential single – not did it work in the context of his concert? – that would be another conversation entirely.

NoAngel, that part of your spoof this morning made me laugh till there were tears in my eyes, ;D ;D ;D ;D thank you (it also kind of reminded me of several GNT concerts I attended) : ??? I saw this on twitter and out of curiosity I looked up her twitter page...she lives in Massachusetts and there is no mention of her moving or visiting CA...I think she used AFL's name to get hits or followers
