GOOD news about Q myspenser! Apparently requesting is helping - with this station anyway. Just saw this on twitter: Top 40 (US) ☞ (Thursday June 28th via Pulse) ☞ 53 58 LAMBERT, ADAM Never Close Our Eyes 263 285 -22 0.933 Rather disappointing as I thought it was doing better on CHR. We still have 3 big CHR stations spinning it. Q102, WKTU, and Boston KIss. If we can get the other 2 stations to pick it up, like Q has, it could be in Top 50 by next week. Seriously! PLEASE KEEP REQUESTING!! Imma throwin' out the rule book now and for any singles in the future! I've waited for months for any of my three local stations to spin or add before I start requesting "too often". I've made sure to only vote for stations that accept out of area request, etc., etc...... At this point, I'm requesting at any station and as often as I want to. Is that what everyone is doing? Maybe we should do this with the next single, instead of playing it safe and using the mediabase method? Just an idea, what do you think? |

I'd been requesting at my local stations that hadn't spun yet about 4-5 times a week, but now I'm expanding to pretty much requesting anywhere that's spinning it I can stream -- texting if I can, and requesting on their websites too as well as mediabase, and calling my local ones and the big national ones. |

I know. But not playing it for a week is not a good thing.
I'm texting, tweeting & doing the MB for all three. Have been since day one. Takes more than just me tho. I think WAEB & WKRZ know by this time that I am an Adam fan. Need more peeps to request. The fact that they did play it (and KRZ played pretty heavily for awhile) means they are receptive. I need some backup at these 2 stations or they'll think I'm the only AL fan in the area.

Will do my duty to request & vote to keep his name out to the media and radios. It's so sad to see good artist names get dropped by the labels lately. Good luck Kelley Pickler! Gosh, NGL bit worry about Adam's album number, and his future for the 3rd one.
I heard P2's song Home quite a bit on my local radio. No NCOE Damn!

That salon article may be years old but I'm pretty certain the same thing goes on today. Unfortunately our hands are tied & all we as fans can do is request. It can't hurt and it MAY help. This entire experience has been an eye-opener. And not in a good way. |
