Season passes are available until Oct. 21 and one-day admissions and unlimited ride tickets are available until Oct. 11. How great is this - and the new 1n10 drop in center for the LGBTQ youth is a few miles down the road from this venue! I have been wanting to do something for the staff, so I am going to see about tickets for them - and figure out a way to get "as many as possible" for the youth. Radio station tickets, etc. Ideas anyone? Also - as the time gets closer, I'll remind everyone that I would love to have a brunch or something for the Adamtopians who come from out of town. Just throwing this out to the universe. :-) Okay let me try that again. gracefuladam I would love to help with this and purchase some tickets for the kids to go see Adam. Should I try buying the tickets and mailing to you or can I just send you the money. Let me know cause I really would like to help. |

I love that TP video by LambertGlowBug. I think someone should tweet it to Adam. It really makes sense of the song for people who may not "get it". I wish we could get it on Huffington Post or some other media outlet.
I know people who like the rock side of Adam like this song. Yesterday, on twitter I read this tweet by a rocker chick who was saying Adam was going to fade away again (think she was referring to
his absence from the music scene in 2011). She said Adam needs to release TP as a single.
I responded and told her that Adam does not choose the singles, RCA does, with the help of program directors, who then do not play them anyway.
Ms Rocker Chick answered back: THEN SOMEONE MAKE RCA UNDERSTAND THAT TRESPASSING WILL SLAY AS A SINGLE.

Personal opinion (as an avid Top 40 listener): I don't think Trespassing fits with Top 40 radio right now. Then again, NCOE fits like a glove, and radio still won't play it. Side note: Only the Horses, the single from Scissor Sisters, fits like a glove at Top 40 also, and radio does not play it. I am really starting to think there is an ingrained bias against "gay music" - and it may not even be a conscious bias, either, which is harder to shake. *sigh* It is what it is. I have not given up on radio (requesting like a mo-fo) but I have resigned myself to the idea that whether he cracks radio or not, Adam will still be fine. He's too talented and smart and his emotional intelligence is too high not to be fine. |

I have sent several requests to 55100 Z100. Each time I get a response that the request has
"been sent 2 the studio". I don't know if this is just a polite term for "thrown in the waste basket".
I am just very cynical about these requests, though I continue to make them.
