I don't necessarily think radio would play TP. It is after all about breaking down barriers.

But I still think a dance remix of TP and certainly other songs on the cd need to be sent to dance clubs for play.

then when the post went up about it being at #17 I went back and refreshed and this is what I got.

So that was a little over 3 hours after I had last checked it.

Are the Amazon numbers based on 1 hour of sales, 24 hours of sales, etc?

It's a constantly rolling chart like iTunes is so that when jumps happen you start to see them immediately. The sale yesterday did raise it some as it was #170 at 7 pm on 6/30 and jumped back up to #119 by 7 pm on Sunday. but it was already dropping again today until this sudden spike. BTW it has dropped back to #26 already.

I remember - I am old - listening to Donna Summer in clubs, and then going out and buying her records. Back in the day, we couldn't just download illegal copies off the internets, but I think if there is respect for the artist, people will still buy.
