I can't promise anything, but I might be able to work on creating DVDs. I have a bunch of free time this week (yay days off from work), but I also need to get some other things done (including writing which always takes me forever). I have also never created a DVD, but since I am pretty tech savvy I am hoping that won't be a big stumbling block. So if I have the time I will try and create a DVD and see how it goes. (I also have no DVD player to test it on so that could make this more interesting ) The question I have though is if anyone knows which of the big downloads is the one I should work with. I did not download any of them since they are so huge and I was happy with just mp3s for myself, so I have no idea which one has the best quality. This might also take some time so I figured I could get started on downloading sooner rather than later. I tried making a DVD from the 4.1 GB download. It is in a format called "ts" which basically contains mpeg-2 video. Only 1 of my DVD softwares can read this and tries to convert it to mpeg which is needed to write to DVD. The big problem is that both the 4.1 & 6.6 GB videos are in PALS format which is an European format. They need to be in NTSC format to work on DVD players in the US. The software I have does not do this conversion properly. I think their is software that will do the conversion but it could take some time to find the right one and test it, which I don't have at the moment. I posted a link yesterday to a mp4 download that someone provided. It is a lower quality conversion of the 6.6 GB file so that it could be uploaded as 1 file less than 1 GB. That version was formatted with iTunes chapters, which is really nice when playing in iTunes. But my DVD software will not read it. The person has just uploaded a non-chaptered verson which I am about to try. Glad to see someone already working on it, and you are many steps in front of me (and have an actual DVD play to test with). Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Andrew Morical @andrewmorical
Adam Lambert is not Freddie Mercury, but he's doing an amazing job with Queen. And I'm a biased Freddie/Queen snob. Kudos to you, Adam!

Adam Lambert UK @lambertuk 2012′s best — so far! - Salon - tinyurl.com/82k68tlWEDNESDAY, JUL 4, 2012 09:00 AM CDT 2012′s best — so far! We're halfway through the year. If you're not up to date with the must-know movies, music, books and TV, we'll help BY SALON STAFF YES, REALLY (Because culture should be fun, take these things seriously) LISTEN Adam Lambert, “Trespassing.” Adam Lambert is one of the few pop stars with the chops to craft cohesive albums, not just indelible singles. “Trespassing” is a sleek collection encompassing retro-minded funk, slinky disco, hi-NRG techno, robo-pop and soulful ballads. More impressive is Lambert’s versatility: He’s such a talented vocalist, he can handle sensitive tunes and dance-floor jams without missing a beat. On the kaleidoscopic synth-pop surge “Broken English,” he channels a young Simon LeBon; on “Shady,” he pants, vamps and seduces over an inimitable liquid groove from Nile Rodgers. And the album’s glammy title track, which sounds like “Another One Bites the Dust” at Studio 54, more than validates his side gig as Queen’s lead singer. – Annie Zaleski ...

Converted the files to DVD format Did you convert the 4.1 GB *.ts file or the 1 GB *.mp4 file? If the 4.1 GB file, then did you convert it to NTSC DVD format and try it on an actual DVD player? There is also a conversion software called AimerSoft which I've been reading about that might work.

You're welcome. I probably will stick around. It does seem Adam fans are good with the videos - much better than Queen fans (at least during this particular collaboration) and I obsessively collect as many Queen bootlegs as possible. (I probably have well over 1,000 Queen/Brian/Roger/The Cross (Roger's sideband)/Queen + Paul Rodgers/Queen +/Queen Extravaganza recordings :D So you guys are helping my OCD too And just to be clear - the link I sent is not converted from youtube videos or anything. It's an old school guy with great recording equipment who just recorded the whole show in audio and just inserted track markers. So when you listen it will be seamless and in fairly high quality
