Hi all. Quick background, I am a Queen fan. I did enjoy watching AL on Idol. I did get FYE and Trespassing and saw him in concert while on tour. I'm almost scared to admit on this board that I'm not a fanatic. I enjoyed FYE. I liked him in concert. I was NOT a big fan of Trespassing... I AM a Queen fanatic though. I thought they might be a good mix. And after seeing both shows I do think while not a home run, it is a fun show and I would definitely go see it if it came to the US. I realize some hardcore Queen purists feel it is vomit inducing. I also think some "glamberts" are a bit OTT the other way  My honest opinion falls somewhere in the middle but definitely leaning more positive. The reason I signed up though was to share a link you might be interested in: Queen & Adam Lambert Moscow COMPLETE Show It's a link to a queenzone thread which has a link to a torrent to the audio of the whole show in FLAC format. Cheers! Hi Talon and thanks for posting. As with anything, everyone is going to have different reactions. I AM a huge Adam fan. Even so, there are some things I'm not as enamored with. You'll find that Adam fans have a great range of likes and dislikes of his songs, performances, and fashion. We give him crap on this forum all the time. I'm sure Queen fans are like that too. I'll tell you, though, that I'm having a really emotional time with these concerts, because I'm just overwhelmed about how good Queen is, along with Adam. I was barely Queen literate, and during the last few years have been getting my education through being an Adam fan. Some of Brian's solos have moved me to tears, and I don't really even like loud electric guitars--usually. Add Roger and the other musicians to the mix and I'm overwhelmed. I guess I'm feeling the power of music in a way that hardly ever happens to me. It's an unexplainable jumble of feelings. Anyways, thanks for your input and the video link. |

You're welcome. I probably will stick around. It does seem Adam fans are good with the videos - much better than Queen fans (at least during this particular collaboration) and I obsessively collect as many Queen bootlegs as possible. (I probably have well over 1,000 Queen/Brian/Roger/The Cross (Roger's sideband)/Queen + Paul Rodgers/Queen +/Queen Extravaganza recordings :D So you guys are helping my OCD too And just to be clear - the link I sent is not converted from youtube videos or anything. It's an old school guy with great recording equipment who just recorded the whole show in audio and just inserted track markers. So when you listen it will be seamless and in fairly high quality  We appreciate your providing the link, but alot of us cannot do Bittorrent. Is there any other way that this file could be provided, perhaps through MediaFire? |

Your welcome. As far as mediafire goes - I've never uploaded anything to mediafire but I could try...I'm more of a torrent guy. If you want something great from Brian as far as powerful, moving guitar - try to find Last Horizon (He did all the time during the QPR tours) and Bijou (during the 08 with Freddie singing 4 lines via video) - VERY moving stuff! |
